I personally think that this doesn't deserve closing, but my thinking often (read most of the time) doesn't matter. and yes trolling means more than being rude...to me. I don't picture a troll as a monster/ugly thing/meany/bad/whatever, however I see a troll as someone who trolls threads trying to get a bite. hmmmmmm I hate reinstalling xp. But in the last 3 months I have done it a grand total of 5 times. woohoo that was fun > I say reinstall as a last resort. But if you do reinstall make sure you format your disk so it is all nice and fresh. I wouldn't reinstall over this matter though.
I have found no repositories for good free screensavers for windows that use little cpu/videa card. now for linux... anyway a nice one I did find was flurry for windows. Flurry is a very nice mac screensaver: http://www.maddogsw.com/flurry/

patience and persistance. keep trying different methods of converting the pic to 4bit. You might have to do some major editting to make it look right. I suggest you don't try to just convert pictures to 4bit, but start out with 4bit in mind or set....just my opinion.
or if you know how to re-program the margins in Skin Studio. this will also often involve some graphical editting to make it look right.

hmm. Sounds like to me you need to go on some computator medication. Your computer is sick. I would stop using yahoo messenger, get it off of the puter. Then run your antivirus or stinger. Then run spybot. then manually scan the registry (use find if you are lazy like me). Then I would shutdown. Pray. The restart the computer and hope you got rid off the bad stuff. Then If you have to use yahoo messenger get it again, but I would suggest you find an alternate program to do the same stuf

have fun with gimp I learned how to use photoshop decently over several years, and I still haven't completed my transformation to gimp. I use linux most of the time, and I use gimp in that. I like consistancy so I use gimp in windows. It is a great program but very very hard to learn if you are used to photoshop things like layerstyles. But if you can figure out gimp there is not much you can't
I like to just have a close button. I have the mouse buttons set to double click to maximize, and right click to minimize on the titlebar. I often use no buttons and just use alt-f4 to close windows with a itty-bitty title bar with no text on it. super minimum so to say. With a small 14" screen I take all the space I can get.
It makes you wonder why linux can have a 24 bit bootscreen and windows can't.
It would be nice if people would tell you why they voted low, but alas they don't have to. Making them wouldn't help either as it would reduce the number of votes. I will rate them sometime soon when I download and use them. I haven't yet and I don't vote on things I haven't downloaded, or at least I conscientiously try not to. Your latest updated skins do look nice from the screenshots though
features make not a skin. however on those skins a 1-2 is a little low, but unless that person is obviously against you he has a right to vote on the skins. By taking away people who vote low for skins you lose the unbiased approach to skins. If more people voted people like this wouldn't matter.
yes with the info you gave I could guess and say that you aren't pushing the power button on you computer, or that you are using linux instead of windows (but if you use linux you most likely know how to make this work). Maybe you don't have a monitor. Maybe you are blind. Maybe you didn't follow the directions.
It is a bug I guess. the desktop objects are located compared to the left and top of the screen. Objectbar/anybar could set the location of the top of the screen lowen then it actually is to allow for the windows not to maximize over the bar. Since desktopx objects are located related to the top they become located compared to the new top made by the bar., when the bar doesn't load they become located to the real top instead of the one the bar makes.
And what does the DesktopX actualy do? Is that similar to a shell replacement? Or is it something else? Desktopx is a desktop enhancement. It is not a shell replacement. But I suppose one could use it as such. Just use a different file manager or set explorer not to load as the desktop manager just the file manager. [Message Edited]

I think that it is the responsibilty of the email client. Not the email setup. I believe that within a year or two that email clients will have advanced far enought to fight spam that you don't want. I think that any other method will limit the freedom that email offers right now. Freedom comes with its prices. with email spam is one of them. [Message Edited]

DONT hack anything..... heres the fix i used .................... While normally I would second this after having several bad experiences with hacking my files. changing icons will almost always not affect anything. Just never ever use somebody elses system files and always back up your own. But it is great that you got it working <
