No GUIOs for grayhaze

I just wanted to let everyone know that it's highly unlikely that I'll be entering the GUI Olympics this year. I have a couple of half-finished skins which probably would have stood a moderate chance of doing well, but they're probably going to stay that way for a while.

Rather than go through the pressure of trying to complete them for a deadline, I'll probably be releasing them at a later date, when they're completed to a good standard.

This decision is partly due to the fact that over the past week I've had my time taken up by something a bit more important to me. Let's just say that a certain thread I started as a joke a while ago can safely be d e l e t e d now...

Damn. It would've been nice to see something like a metalX3 (and I guess thats the thread you're talking about). I remember you posting a teaser shot of what you were working on. Just take care of yourself and release it 'when it's done'

I think GH is right...some things do come before the greatest contest in skinning history...that probably won't happen again for another 2 years and and....bah! It's ok GH, I like girls more than WB skins too.

I'm beginning to wonder myself. I've spent so much time playing with desktop themes that I have let Winamp get way on ahead of me. If I find that the skin I am making is half-assed I think I'll just release it after the Olympics. Given the overall complexity of all the apps in question, it seems like a May, June, or even July deadline would have been more apt.

I mean really, what kind of Icon set can you make from scratch in a month? I would rather have seen people's best work than stuff that was rushed to get finished, no matter how good it is.

3rd event: Impossible to answer seriously emotionally charged questions starting with the ever discomboobalating "Am I fat?" followed up with "Why do you Love me" then "How do you know you love me?" and maybe "Do I look like I've lost weight?" just to keep you off balance!
