I for one have noticed a difference between a uis2 without some optimization and a really optimized uis1. Many themes could be optimized without any hurt to the graphics by a simple option called tile. now if people think that it takes to much time to change the parts of a skin that were stretched and could be tiled to tiled I think they are wrong. Don't set it as a dock instead give it a script to act like a dock. Just use the window edges and and the x,y coords of the object to get it positioned right at start. If you feel like going further you can make it dynamic so it can change sizes on its own, but still be in the right place. Rate what you think should be the rating, not what will get the rating where you think it should be. I other words if you think a wallpaper should be rated 4, but it is rated 5 by 2 people, don't rate it 2 to get the rating down to 4, but rate it 4 because that is what you think it should be.

I can't live without tabbed browsing. I use firefox now 100% of the time, and the tabbed browser extensions make tabbed browsing easy. Perhaps if opera or other browser could be set up and customized as much as firefox I would use them, but being able to set up links so if they link to a seperate main address they open a new tab is something I haven't found besides through tabbed extensions for firefox. I used the network login as normal back in windows becuase it is much more stable then the normal one on my laptop. I never figured out why it was, but it was.

Well actually that makes sense that that would work. I should of thought of that. When you mess up stuff like that the xp boot cd will fix it most of the time. You have to actually format the hard drive to get rid of all your files. They will almost always stay there. It isn't guarenteed that it will be succesful but I had a very high successrate with fixing messups with system files back in my system file hacking days. sorry haven't posted in a while, still thinking it over. Its kind of hard to fix something if you can't login to fix it. I wish I had windows installed right now. I could look to see exactly what bootskin does to put it into memory so it will load itself on boot. I suspect the boot.ini file, but I am not sure about that. but that is the ideal of what you would need to do. find where bootskin has made a change in some file and put it back the way it was before. in the dx properties you set the number or frames. split the image horizontally equally in the number of frames you want and put each image in the frames where they go. for example a 200x100 image with 2 frames is 2 100x100 images tiled next to each other. so yes the boundry is right in the middle for a image with 2 frames. with 3 frames the boundries are at 1/3, and 2/3 the width, for 4...should I continues?

press alt-ctrl-del to go to the network login. type in your username and password and you can login. then change the logon. If this doesn't work, you need to boot into safe-mode and change the logon screen there. One quick question: did you use logonstudio, logonxp, or manually change the logon system file?
