I have gotten a higherblood pressure before, but only for about 4 hours. I find it increadably scary to think that I had almost died. I would not depend on the pressure medication for the reason you stated. Your body will become dependent on it and if you stop taking it your blood pressure will skyrocket. The sudden jump in blood pressure is probably very dangerous. As I said before exercise is the best way. Aerobic to be precise. Run a couple of miles everyday. That should really help.

Smoking gives me high blood pressure. I don't really worry about it because I eat healthy and stay in somewhat shape...not great mind you. Aerobic exercises should help with your blood pressure more than anything. If that won't help stop eating fatty foods and keep exercising. If that won't help go to the doctor.

Kill explorer.... just kidding you probably don't want to do that, but if you use a explorer replacement like bb4win you can use less memory....But there are many config programs that will let you do this. I think that x-setup will let you do this. I know desktopx will, but then you have to be running desktopx (which is a good thing)

Latin4567 does have a bad attitude, but none of his posts have that certain troll like quality. Rude, yes. Troll, no. I think your post was inappropriate. Latin4567: your problems lie within the fact that Desktopx is not completely bug free. You are most likely doing something else that affects it, or doing it in a bad order. I have noticed that desktopx is very unreliable when editting scripts, although I have formed several habits that pretty much eliminate all crashes.

I personally wouldn't trust a pop-up. One method is through remote desktop. I personally wouldn't choose to do this or any method like this as the possibilities for someone phreaking your computer greaten enormously when you allow your computer to be accessed in that fashion over the internet.

There shouldn't be an issue with bootskin causing an lcd to blank out. Most likely you have another problem that bootskin adds to. Have you installed any other boot screen programs besides bootskin? Have you made sure you don't have any other problems like a virus? It might be a problem with your video card. I don't know how to fix that besides making sure you are running the latest drivers for it.

You don't really "need" to learn a language to make 3d objects. There are several programs that make the process pretty easy like 3dstudiomax and the like. Maybe pov-ray if you want to learn a little about making really good 3d images. IT uses less memory and is a different enviroment. I like it because I am used to the blackbox enviroment. It is totally a matter of personal preference.

I justed wanted people to know that bb4win is very nice, very nice indeed. I had to switch to windows temporarily to use my wireless because I couldn't get it to work in linux. I normally use fluxbox, a derivative of Black box, and using bb4win makes using windows almost as nice as using linux. It has a very low overhead and is incredibly easy to install. I use winamp 5 and notice no to little difference from winamp 2.x. Just disable all the stupid plugins. and if you feel like it you can use a fancy skin, but I normally don't. Normally I use xmms. That is in linux, but it is basically a winamp 2.x clone.

I think winamp is one of the best programs for windows. by far it has more features in my opinion than any other music player. While I don't consider it the best video player, for music none is better.

Erm first of all you should have never installed litestep if you don't know much about windows, or computers in general. Secondly you just have to change the window/file manager back to explorer.exe. I think you can do this in the boot.ini file. I am not sure as I don't use Lite Step and never had.
