ha ha, I think my hiatus is about 5 years! I can't this will be a regular occurrence either but I'd like to get back to articles again. Don't they have stuff like that on PBS or that mostly documentaries? Keep in mind most of my knowledge of US channels comes from sitcoms and the like. I think every country needs a channel willing to show stuff that isn't necessarily going to rate well. Otherwise you end up reality show after reality show after reality show. Bleh!

Hey Dr Guy, nice to hear from you again. It has been several years since i have posted on Joeuser. Yes there are definitely weirder films. These are just the ones who name I can still remember. I watch most of these things very late at night on SBS (Special Broadcasting Service) which is renown for showing bizarre foreign films and arty stuff.
I always have trouble answering when someone asks me what my favourite movie is. However I do hold a special place in my heart for obscure quirky or downright bizarre films, especially if they're funny. I have decided to list a few of my favourite films in this category. Not all of them are brilliant, but they have several moments that are at least worth a single viewing if not more. Dark Star: This is an ultra-low budget sci-fi student film
I agree completely. I like Obama though so it sucks. I have a nasty feeling he might only last a term but you never know.
He turned their eyes away from the fact he has no real credentials to assume the office of the President, matter of fact of the four people in the race McCain, Palin and Biden, Obama has the least amount of experience of the four.
The first part of that statement, that he has no real credentials, is untrue and the second part of that statement, that he is the least experienced, depends on what you count as experience. Let's just count being in public office, (I
Thanks Dr Guy old buddy old pal. It's good to be back, though once reporting time comes around (and I'm almost there) I'll fade into oblivion once more temporarily. It's nice to be on something other than facebook!
Thanks Brandie. God I've missed you mate. How's the bun cooking? :) I hope you and the family are well.
Hey Zoo, it's nice to be back. I've lacked the motivation to post for ages. Though this may be an anomaly. Thanks for your comment.
I had the craving for red meat today but not the motivation to do a steak. So instead I invented the Taco Burger. The recipe for this orgiastic feast of artery clogging delights is below: The Taco Burger Serves 3 or one very hungry person (I had two, I was starving) Ingredients: 500 grams beef mince 3 burger buns 2 shittake mushrooms 2 cloves of garlic 2 Italian tomatoes (though any will do - the adventurous might try drained sun
Hmm, I get the feeling she's going to be an angry feminist type :P
I agree with Maso she's going to be pretty just like you. Griffy's going to be a lucky boy!
Hey Brandie, in answer to your last reply: I missed you too. Griffy is doing well from what I hear. Remember I am in Indonesia until the end of the year so all my Griffin news is second hand. He is finally crawling and getting close to standing on his own (at the moment he can hold on to things to stand). He was feeling a little ill last I heard but nothing serious. He's also getting plastic surgery on his mole soon, they are going to put in skin expanders sometime soon.</
Hey Brandie, Congrats! Hopefully you'll get another girl and well and balance out the genders a bit. Seriously though, are you addicted to being pregnant or something?! Just kidding :P Man, you step away from JU for a spell and before you know it new people are being created 'n' shit :D
TobleroneHah! You've been gone for quite awhile. Nice to see ya!~Zoo
Nice to "see" you too mate, I hope you are well. I really must make an effort to start posting surreal stuff again or perhaps even get involved in those political debates I used to enjoy so much!
Hey Brandie, how are ya? Wow I haven't been on JU for AGES what the frack happened? It's nice that it doesn't take like half an hour to load anymore - I'm not entirely sure about the format though. I kinda liked the old format but maybe I'm just a sentimental fool :)
Oops I must have accidently typed something and hit "Post Comment" how careless of me.....
Happy New Year, mate. Hope you had a good one. I did, I great fun at a party that I went to with Champas up in Brisbane. The clip is very entertaining indeed. And your Da
I never knew you were the son of a celebrity! I can see where you are very proud of your father! Love the band! I'll pass on the compliments. Your dad had groupies!</TD
I might have mentioned that my dad used to be in a steelband called "Trinidad Tripoli Steelband". They toured with Liberace for 4 years. Clips of Tripoli are now up on you tube. IN the clip below you'll see my dad playing the scratcher (this case two at once). At that stage my dad didn't play the steelpan himself. Check out the dance moves! MOre clips are o

Oh oh, looks like Griffin has got some competition! They look like brother and sister almost. Hey, you should see Griffin now:
In the words of the animaniacs "HELLO NURSE!"
I'm sorry to hear that he's going to have surgery later, but I guess it's better to be safe about it. Oh, it shouldn't be a big deal (knock on wood). He is going to one of the best places for plastic surgery in Australia, westmeade hospital in Sydney. It is being covered by the public health system. <
Toblerone: Ha, you're right. That is amazing. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago. It was really cool meeting you and your family. I am glad we got to do that. Likewise. <TD class="mb-Body-Quote-
