Welcome to the May 2018 Community Spotlight! To the uninitiated, it's the time of month where we take something awesome from the community and show it off. Our communities amaze us with their creativity and vision for adding more content to our games. This month I want to take a look a

Happy Wednesday! It is Wednesday right? They haven't let me out of the dark room in a while so forgive me while I gather my witts... Fleet Battles Beta has been out to the early adopters for a while now and we feel like there's been enough time to gather some feedback. We've been listening to members of the various communities, but we would like to gather some specific feedback to help us improve the
but there aint any farms
Farms are very much still in the game, but you have to build them on arable land now. If you have a planet without arable land it won't give you the option to build a farm.
guys, because farms dissapeared, whats the best tactic to get enough food at all the planets? Now many of my planets lack food and have low morale regards,
Farms haven't disappeared so much as been restructured. When your planets have arable land they will generate a set amount of food without improvement. If you build a farm on the arable land it gives you a nice boost.

This week we will be taking a look at a long time member and an avide designer in the Galactic Civilization community. This modder not only has a number of impressive ships, but also creates some great Star Trek related civilizations to play as. I’m sure many of you already know who I am talking about, but for those who don’t, I’d like to introduce Airmaster !<

I'm happy to announce the semi-retirement of my old computer and the introduction of my new rig. I've been upgrading the same rig for some time and decided it needed to be retired to a media server. It will soon be running PLEX and streaming all kinds of fun content all over my house. To take over all my work and video game duty I have built the new, shiny computer seen below. Starting with the hardware: https://pcpartpicker.com/l

Nice build. Good luck on the 1080 purchase. It's a tough market for video cards right now.

The initial number released by people in the tech industry was exaggerated from everything I've seen. Of course this makes better articles and generally gets more clicks. The world we live in... I'm partial to AMD myself, but even with that I won't sing doom and gloom for Intel. Exploits are part of the advanced tech we use every day. The important part is how companies handle these exploits and how quickly they are corrected with minimal impact.

Out of curiosity, do you have any antivirus or firewall software? If so try disabling it and running the games. On another note, after upgrading my Windows 7 to Windows 10 I had a variety of problems as time went on. I ended up having to do a clean install of Windows 10 on my computer. Hopefully your situation doesn't come to that.
