I tossed my computer into the bathtub and it started working ;p. I was able to find the above files in different places and ran the exe. files. 2010/2012/2015/2017 files.

Just a little follow up When using the Dev. launcher, error-> Failed to Create D3DX Effect '.\PipelineEffect\SetupDefaultStates.fx'... NULL and continued errors after that as well

I have Rebellion thru Steam and have gone thru all the "general" help forums all the way through the clean start up. Always the same result. When I launch the game at the Stardock Portal, I press play and it stays on a black screen and I get an error along with a error log. I have a windows10 machine, disabled the firewall, uninstalled and reinstalled about fifty times now. Any help would be nice.
