Version 1.9 has had mixed results running on 64bit Windows 7. Problems certainly exist and I've seen the above error on 64bit Windows 7. Some of the functionality of objectdock (especially things like the tray functionality) have also been known to cause problems under 64bit Windows 7. Results seem to be variable with some people having no issues and others having significant problems. My recommendation would be to move to 2.0 Beta, although this version natura

Objectdock 2 Beta Windows 7 64Bit Problem: When configuring system tray options: If I check 'Show all tray icons at all times' then all tray icons display correctly. However. If I uncheck this option and then choose from 'Current Icons' When checking which icons to display most do not appear on the system tray. Out of 14 icons 6 icons show up in the system tray.

I know objectdock has various options for making shortcuts appear with a triangle to indicate the application is open. However one thing I've noticed since Windows 7 came out is that objectdock is really missing the ability to Pin items in the list of running tasks. This is a great feature which object dock needs. Two options are a possibility: Hide this program from running programs if it exists as shortcut on this dock. or easier<

Operating System: Windows 7 64Bit Objectdock 2 Beta Problem 1: When showing running programs on the taskbar: Right clicking on icon for the running application displays a list of options including ALT F4 to close the window. Click off this menu without choosing anything. Right click on the running application icon again and the ALT F4 option is no longer available in the list. Even worse attempting to close the application

Does it have all the same features of the default recycle icon? Not yet, but I don't see why it can't once I add the finishing touches The total size slider is possible, I'll look into it. I am planning to have more than two visual states for the bin, ie more than just 'Empty' and 'Full' What I need is images for states like 'Empty' 'A few items' 'half full' 'nearly full' 'full' and 'overflowing'

Hi, I was looking around on Wincustomize for a more advanced Recycle Bin. One that would display how many items were in the bin, the size of the files in the bin and the percentage of the max bin size. Because I could not find one I decided to script my own, i've got it working (but it needs to be made more efficent) I was wondering, is anyone interested in this advanced bin,if so what features would you like to see?<br

I'm pleased that the GreenReaper has got involved (the author of SkinBench) I have just done some tests on my newer XP machine and my older 2000 Machine using skin bench, both are using WindowBlinds 4.2 Both machines are set to 1280 X 1024 resolution with True Color. I am using two versons of XP Corona one with reduced colors and transparency and one without. Here are the results in the areas GreenReaper says in the documentation are most likely to indicate perform

Shameless Designs said: By the time I have everything optimized for appearance and functionality, there is no way I'm going to go back and spend hours and hours doing color conversions and then rechecking the skins in order for someone to save a couple hundred kilobytes of RAM or hard drive space. When talking about performance it is not about the small amount of disk space saved its all about rendering of the graphics on the screen. When skinning with such as Windo

This machine is 512MB Ram and I can still notice the difference, its only slight I will admit but I always like to feel like I'm getting the best from my hardware! Another reason to reduce color size is the distribution package will be smaller, but I suppose you'll tell me everyone has lightening fast connections so who cares right? Themes are also going to have wider appeal because they will work on the older machines just as well as the new. <A HREF="https:/

Is it just me or do many skin designers just not take into account of performance when designing skins? I have two machines, a fast one and a slow Windows 2000 machine. Skins just don't run fast on the Windows 2000 machine, until I optimize them that is! The simple process of reducing the number of colors on the bitmap images to 256 or 16 has a dramatic effect on how fast the machine will run. You can reduce transparency in a lot of images where the background can be
