If you hide your desktop icons, then the default windows right-click menu is of no use. Therefore it's hidden and replaced with one that has much more dx-specific functions. Think about what is in the windows right-click menu: Arrange icons - no effect on DX objects Line up icons - ditto Refresh - ditto Paste Shortcut - ditto New - ditto Properties - This one is still useful, but it is in the DX one under 'Settings'

Yea, hooking the ratings with the comments would be a good idea. No rating unless you leave a comment too. It's too bad you feel the need to leave. I rarely pay attention to the ratings, myself.

Personally, I dumped ICQ because AOL was adding useless new feature after useless new feature while bugs that had existed since day 1 were never fixed. It became a real hog. 12MB ram to just sit there waiting for messages! It's probably higher now.

It only displays that info if you use SDPlayer. For winamp, you get the basics only. You might want to try the new dxtoys 5. It does everything you could ever want with winamp. http://iquebec.ifrance.com/celticsoftware/

migellito is mistaken, win2k will not show icons with anti-aliasing. AFAIK, the only way is to use DesktopX.
