Here we go:  there aren't alot of demigod clans out there.  The game CURRENTLY has less than 500 people that play together at any given time online.  I can't back that number up, but I think that's fairly reasonable based on what I've seen.  Out of those 500 or so players, many of those players many have bad connections and some outright cheat.  You probably don't want to play with them.  I probably don't either.  So, getting a group of people together that don't cheat or have bad connections is a pretty good idea IMO.  Plus, coordinating a team in demigod is MUCH easier if you have voicechat.  Let's do that too. So - players with good connections + players that use voicechat (at least to listen in) = clan pacov.  Its pretty much an all welcome scenario so long as you fit that criteria.  Here's the info you need to join voicechat:

Once you join the vent, PM someone in clan pacov.  Each of our channels are password protected but there are plenty of public channels to idle in and people clan pacov check out the pub channels from time to time.

Here's what we deliver.  You get more balanced games with people that don't cheat.  I regularly balance games out to encourage more people to play with and against us.  

Ask questions if you have them and any clan pacov specific discussions belong here (casual, serious, etc).

Clan Pacov Mission Statement:

Clan pacov isn't about forming team super premade.  Its about frequently getting fun games going and occassionally getting some really competitive games going as well.  We welcome like minded, non-devisive individuals interested in playing games on a semi-regular basis.  We don't welcome people who cheat at games.  We will mix up teams to make things fun.  We will all generally be using voicechat.  We will play with and against each other.  We will play with and against other clans.

FYI - the clan channel is most active between 6PM-2AM EST daily, but people are on all hours of the days

Jongault and I picked up BF2 bad company 2 on PC and will be playing some of the beta tonight if anyone else was looking to get on that bandwagon as well.

BFBC2 - here's who's in atm - jongault, shade, trouser, pacov.  Trouser should have the beta by monday - me n jon have now.  shade should have today (sat).

See - I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I want to... I played total annihilation and supcom... I never really wanted to do competitive MP... but once starcraft came out, that's all I really did.  So, pretty much starcraft and demigod have been my only really competitve MP games.

Supreme Commander made me more of a competitive gamer then I ever was before.

There is so much you can do in SupCom, no game will ever be better then it in my mind.

I remember waiting every Sunday for the QuadV casts. The games were crazy.

If what I say has any effect on you wanting to play: I've never had a game that was more fun competitively. Or more fun period.

Giacdegiac - just responding to your PM on the lagwars vent.  At this point, there's no official need to add a clan tag or try out or whatever... its safe to say that the clan is in its formative stages right now.  The bottom line for you is that you can feel free to join the vent and get some games in.  I don't believe I've had the chance to play with you at this point.  Based on your stats, it appears that you are a new player to the game.  I'd recommend making sure that people in the clan pacov channel are aware of this and I'm sure some folks would be up for playing with you and helping you understand how to be a good teammate in MP.

Re:  Supcom - I bought both games digitally awhile back... do you only play forged alliance?  Is it a standalone or do i need to install both games?

edit - my nerd agenda for the day is to get some favormod 1.8 games and perhaps get a game of sins in as well (you need all of the expansions to play w me).
