You're a jerk then.

The only good pirate (including those who justify 'trying out a game before purchasing' by using torrents, not demos) is a pirate who has been hurtled into outer space on a missle bound for Saturn; with no space suit.

There are 2 tipes of people in the world
those who buy a cat in a sack and those who dont

There's a third. Those who don't buy the cat, but steal it instead.

I had a couple ways I was going to approach this thread. But decided to just leave it alone, lol.

No one likes pirating.

Also, no one likes games without demos that allow people to use this sad justification.

"The first few days of Demigod being miserable on-line was largely the result of us simply not having taken into account the effect pirated copies would have on our server resources."

And oh snap! You made the game experiance worse for people who DID buy it.

Just saying.

So you were one of those myriad of people who made the first few days of this game the laggy shit that it was.

THANKS MAN!

I bought mine and am quite happy with it.

More power to you though and I'm glad you liked it enough to buy it, since Stardock is pretty awesome.

Honestly though, if PC gaming keeps heading down the shitty road it's on, I'm going to start doing this as well.  It's going to become commonplace in my home as longs a money hungry producers force devs to push shit out unfinished... and especially since horrible console ports keep happening.

If you're going to sell a console game ported to PC as a PC game, get your goddamned console out of my PC game.
