Stargate Invasion is a total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment and Diplomacy . As of this time, there is no FINAL release date yet for this mod.

  

 

The mod will be built in 2 halves.  The first is the Pegasus side, I.E. Humans, Wraith and Asurans, with the Pirates being a classified race at the moment.  The second part of the mod, will add in the Asgard and Goa'uld races to the mix, we will even be creating a separate version of the mod as well, which will just be Humans, Asgard and Goa'uld, with the Lucien Alliance as the Pirates for that half.

Hi, so I read the read me file and it said to Open the GS_Ship file located in the mods "PipelineEffect" folder, but i cannot find this folder (this is the first time this has happened because i have downloaded your previous version of the mod and i always found this folder) and it also said i should :you will need to copy/paste this file from your sins install PipelineEffect folder into the mods PipelineEffect folder: what does this mean?(What do i have to do to get this folder)

 

(Sorry for any spelling mistakes and Grammer errors)

you have to copy the PipelineEffect folder from your install directory which has to be located at C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\ for XP users (don't know for 7 and Vista) and paste it into the mod folder.

yes on my pc i am playing with the solution 1920*1080 and all settings on highest and the game doesn't crash.

The star base in this game are weak being they are there to help. Only when fully upgraded hull they stand a chance also does the weapon on them change cause fully upgraded it seems no change on the attack power.

Yea, the weapons upgrades on starbases don't do anything at the moment. I'll be changing that sometime in the future.

Also who made the crazy hive battleship with 106k hull and 2125 attack seems like a killer ship but it kills star base's but other ships can take it out easy why is that. i was wondering in the search bar one of things has a string not found before the planet upgrade bar.

i just noticed something...

 

i just looked at the pics on the moddp site and city ships have textures there but not in the game for me.

 

is this a bug or havent they relesed the textures yet.

You're mistaken. Atlantis has not been textured yet, along with most of the rest of the models.

on moddb there is one SGI DIP 1.011 and one SGI DIP 1.011A and then a SGI DIP 1.011A Patch.

 

wich ones do i dl???

You download the 1.011A version and the 1.011A patch. Put the full version in your mods folder and overwrite with the patch files.

The model will reflect colors from the background. In the moddb picture the background is dark, in your game you likely have on skyboxes which produce background colors.

Who knows. We now finally have another dedicated texture artist, so textures should at least get completed somewhat regularly, but it will be a while before all ships are finished.

At this point i couldnt care less about textures, the mod need balancing right away. Unless you play as wraith or asurans you cant get into a game. The humans i will admit have some uber powers in the very late game but the Wraith and Asurans have capitals that can kill Human caps in a single salvo. The Wraith and Asurans in early game a seriously OP compared to humans. 

 

My friend and i both just played a lan game we played as humans, against a couple of wrait a couple of asurans and then the rest random. We both got killed in the forst half hour by with an Atlantis city ship or a Wraith Hive. I had a fleet of 30 early ships (prometheus, Fenrir, Deadulus's couple other frigate types) and i could barely scratch the wraith Hive. 

 

I had researched shields, hull and armor for Tokra, some asgard tech. But pretty much the game starts off so slow that its impossible to get far enough to kill a single Wraith hive. Thats all they had by the way, a single Wraith hive and 2 cruisers, the cruisers went down at a reasonable rate but that hive.

 

Anywho if this is how its spose to be then the game will just be unplayable as a human team.

Forgot to mention that we love the mod, we're not dissing it or anyhting just trying to explain that we think certain teams are a bit too OP
