Ungrateful Iconians

So there I am playing a good race, doing good deeds, thwarting the tyrants of the universe... the Drengin got a sound spanking and put back in thier sandbox and told to play nicely... the Yor were told assimilations were not nice and thier battery chargers were taken away... heck I even retook the Iconian homeworld, and then it struck me... I know I'll give the ancestral homeworld back to the Iconians, they were nice if hard done by alien dudes.. I felt for them, they had always been good to me, ready to trade and when they struggled I was always more than happy to send them some cash or tech to help, so im thinking if i give them thier homeworld back they'll be grateful.
Two turns later the Yor re-colinise the abandoned Iconia??? huh the Idiot Iconians only went and abandoned the colony because I assume it was considered too far away from thier existing worlds... BUT this is thier ancestral homeworld it should have been a momentus occasion.. Grrr
It would have been nice if thier was some scripting in the AI for the significance of thier homeworld being returned to have them hold on to it at all costs, or maybe even work towards getting it back themselves.. but as is it is seemingly of zero importance to them..shame
