I use an ISP you probably haven't heard of: Corecomm, and this is the first time in 3 days I've been able to access WinCustomize. My mom, who uses Earthlink as her ISP couldn't get here either. We both use dialup. Go figure that one. We just figured this site either got hijacked and had a Denial of Service, or there was maintenance being done. How could her or I be affected if we don't have Road Runner??

Thank you for your response, Sir Bichur. There isn't much info about Natural Desktop at Stardock's site, which is why I asked so many questions. I have dialup too, and I'd probably get disconnected if it's 42 MB in size...and it'd take maybe 4 hours to download if I wasn't disconnected....
Is there a free trial download for N.D. or would I have to buy it outright? Am I correct in that I could change the current day's scenario if I wanted something different? Could I create my own themes with my own sounds, or is everything pre-set? Are there additional themes/soundscapes available? Is there music included or are there only nature sounds? I'm running WinXP. Thanks in advance for any answers.
Tabbed browsing is wonderful - if you do not use a Logitech mouse to do it. I had to buy another mouse just to be able to middle click and have a link open up in a tab. Maxthon is based on the IE shell - so there are potential problems because of this. Maxthon is stable, too. If you install/use Maxthon while FF is loaded, your URL links won't open in FF unless you uninstall Maxthon. Be *very careful* with any tweaks to speed up FF's
I followed your advice, Koasati. I downloaded/installed a new cursor set, 'Blue Conica' with no problems. I also feel that it is how the skinner creates their skin package which could be a problem with me. For instance, on the 'Valentine's Day Pack', once extracted, it opened every item inside my CXP themes folder (grrr)- along with the scheme.ini. When I try & install a new CXP theme, it asks if I want to overwrite the existing schemei.ini. Since 'VDP

The past 2 CXP themes I've downloaded don't install the same as older ones I've dl'd. (Jungle & Valentine's Day Pack) For instance, they have a curxptheme extension. Yet when I double click to install, they don't work correctly. My icons revert back to Windows default. I have to change the .curxptheme to .zip & then extract it. This just started happening. Before, if a theme didn't work, I had to rename a .zip to .curxptheme for it

Interesting update: The only way I can rate any skin is if I go to the skinner's personal website here at WC. Then, and only then, do I get the ability to rate a skin. The mouse hovers over the stars, and I can see the 'I like it', etc., and then rate the skin. FilkoSE, give this a try. Wonder why this changed.

I have the same problem as FilkoSE. Up until 2 days ago, I could rate the skins, and I have the same qualifications as Bebi Bulma.
