Thank you. I'll give this a try. I am a long time fan of Stardock, but not checking for backward compatibility for a new release feels pretty amateur.

I play GalCiv4 everyday, but this morning all of my save files give the error shown in the subject. I checked integrity of game files on Steam and it replaced 3 files, but I still get the same error. Rebooted and check integrity of files again and Steam replaced 3 files again, but same error. Please help. David
