Do a search for scripts in the Objectdock section. There is a pack of four scripts that includes a shutdown file. Just drag that file to the objectdock and it will work.

Iconworkshop is a better icon editor. I know a lot of people who make icons just use Photoshop or compatible program. There are many programs that can save files to the icon format. I might be wrong, but I think Skinstudio 4 will have an icon editor integrated. That might be a way to go.

Go with an amd 2800. You can overclock it to to compete with a 3000 without much effort. You will save about a $100. Make sure the video card you get is dx9 compatible, and go with 8x agp.
