I have no desire to have a mobile wallpaper section on WC. I was just wondering if people who create wallpapers would benefit from including resolutions that are more mobile friendly. Although I'm not sure that's even necessary as it's quite easy to make any image a wallpaper....at least in iOS. We appreciate the comments and getting a conversation going! :)

We have a large wallpaper gallery here and since we've been focusing on getting more content added, I was wondering how you use some of these. Specifically, do you take a desktop wallpaper and use it as the wallpaper on your mobile device such as a phone or tablet? On most of my mobile devices I typically just use a photo from my photo album, but I have used downloaded wallpapers before. <img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://cdn.stard

We're just about a week away from the official start of Fall, and if you are someone who likes to match your desktop with the season, now is a fantastic time to get started! Using the search function and just typing in " fall " or "<a href="https://www.wincustomize.com/
It's been great to see some skinners returning to WinCustomize and sharing some new creations. We want to extend a big welcome back to BONEHEADdb ! He's been one of the top CursorFX creato
Since the beginning of COVID, webcams have been hard to come by as vast amounts of people starting both working from home and having school at home. Webcams sold out for months and it seems they are just now slowly coming back in stock. If you have a Sony camera such as a RX100 or an A-series camera, you can now easily use them as a webcam without any additional hardware. Sony released the Imaging Edge Webcam application for free so if you have a Sony camera, be sure to grab it.
Could we get an updated list if possible, Pat? Thank you!
[quote who="neone6" reply="1" id="3786963"] Masterskinners that generate revenue to the site should be offered Curtains free of charge if the Forces that be wants us to skin for the app. I'm saying this because I have no intention to buy or real interest in the App itself as it seems limited, also a lack of funds/a poor economic situation doesn't help. Fall is right around the corner and with that we have the latest edition of the WinCustomize monthly wrap-up! This is where we'll feature some of the best news, articles, and skins from the past month in case you might have missed them. We're looking at way to expand the growing Curtains gallery. One of the ideas being bounced around is a contest for the entire community. We also wanted to encourage our community of WB skinners to get in on the Curtains action too. Curtains is doing very, very well and we think it can be a terrific addition that gets people to look more into other skinning options (WindowBlinds, etc.) as well. Thoughts?

I understand that people have lives outside of WC, but I sure as hell miss some of those departed/hardly ever here me
Just an update to this. Thanks to all the skinners who have been adjusting their previews for their new uploads. Starting over the next few days, we're going to start making this more of a requirement for uploads. [e digicons]:)[/e]
As Basj mentioned, WinCustomize is a moderated site so skins will need to go through moderation unless user level dictates otherwise. :) And thanks for uploading. Hope to see more.
September is just over a week away and we are inching ever so close to the beginning of the autumn season. As we start winding down summer, lets take a look at wallpapers today and what has been popular over the last month. You can download these here, and many more in our desktop <a href="https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/wallpapers/sort/popular" target="_blank" rel
Among one of the many things COVID has brought us is the cancellation of much needed vacations across the world. It's destroyed a great deal of the travel industry, and things like theme parks are just starting to reopen. One of my personal favorites, the cruise industry, has barely started to come back and normal cruising won't resume probably until well into next year. We have had 3 out of the 4 scheduled cruises this year cancelled, with only one of those not related to COVID. At t
I noticed we have had some real nice wallpapers with great scenes of animal life of all types, so lets dedicate this weeks news to some. There are some great images here on WinCustomize of a variety of animal types, so be sure to use that search function and find a favorite. People have used a variety of software to make icons. It's really whatever graphics application you know and prefer to use.
Video streaming and video content creation have risen greatly in popularity over the past few years. Video game streaming alone has turned into a multi-million dollar industry, and even just hobbyists are getting in on the action. Video creators like vloggers and many other channels on YouTube have created an amazing resource of educational and entertainment content. If you're a streamer or content creator, you can use <a href="https://www.stardock.com/products/multiplicity/" target="
I have mostly a "smart" home. For the security portion I am using mostly stuff from Wyze . Mostly because it's super cheap and performs well for the price. Cameras start at around $20, but those are USB powered. They recently released a wireless outdoor camera that is battery powered. I've used Arlo in the past, but that is a pricey system to have and performance is nearly identical to what I have now.
Follow-up question: When you download a wallpaper do you prefer multiple resolutions, or just the biggest possible and fit the wallpaper from that?
