I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that replied. I started a new game last night and now my skills have greatly improved. I have all but the Alterians(sp?) in my pocket and my military force is just about unmatched. My morale is a average rating of 89% within my empire. :D [Message Edited]

Okay, I need some serious help. I have been getting my ass kicked on a consistant basis and now it is getting pretty fustrating. I always play the largest galaxy. I usally play with scattered stars or scatterd clusters. Here is my starting stratergy: 1. I set my spending to 100% but that does not last long. 2. Military spending is set to 75% while research is set to 25% so I can do some research. 3. I try to settle as many planets as I can. In a large galaxy game when does the

What about forms of goverment? I find it rather odd that my Evil race has a "star federation." Going by human history it would show that 99% of the evil empires were dictatorships. I believe there should be evil forms of goverments. [Message Edited]

Elrikk, that would only be a problem IF the stars moved. The last timed I checked they didn't. The income from trade should be the same each and every turn except if the planet was invaded or the trade lane attacked.

I agree as well. All the planets are the same. I see no clear cut differences in none of them except PQ. Oh well.

First, I was just like to say that Galactic Civ is one of the best games I have played in a long time. I am hooked. :D Now... I would like to see real borders. I don't know how hard that would be to add in. I really liked the option in MOO2 of telling other races to get the hell out of my space or else. YOU really need to add that it! ;p
