NO MOUSE USAGE in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I was find until I updated last version. Prior to that, i changed as not to use a full window as Galactopedia crashed my games when I switched back and forth. Uninstalled gsame, reinstalled and I can't get my mouse to respond to even set options to hardware mouse. Catch 22!! WTF. Geforce 6800GT. This looks likes its been an old problem (Feb 2006) or so and would like to have an answer or I need my money b

I appreciate all the insights in these posts and have learned a lot. I just recently got Gal Civ II and am on my first game but I've been playing it with a Gal Civ I mentality concerning ships. ** Where the hell is the technology tree that lets me build battleships?? ** Good stuff guys.
