I'm not certain that ship design will be as big as it should be. It is fun, but the thing that I enjoyed about the primitive ship design that MoO II offered was the fact that I could actually see the results during battle. How I placed guns and modules on my ships effected what I was able to fire and how I was able to turn and which shields needed to recharge. I appreciate that GC 2 has made the weapons research more obvious and logical, but I miss the direct effect it had in combat that I could

I was soo excited about MoO III, I went out and bought 2 copies on the day it came out. I had already spent several months reading the forums and getting excited about the game. I had played MoO and MoO II to the point of nearly dropping out of college (ahh good memories). GalCiv2 redeems and lives up to my memories of MoO greatness. Thank you! Over the past few days, as I started getting cautiously optimistic about this game and showing it to my son, my wife insisted on reminding how well my ex

I went into Stardock around 10:30 this morning and started downloading the game and ran into the same issue. I hit the update button again and it went through with no problems. Give it another whirl. The game is totally worth it.

My first game was very enjoyable and got me aclimated quickly. Being able to jump in and play a game from start to finish and almost win.. (I accidentally surrendered because I thought I was asking someone else to surrender) Very cool!

I built two constructors to take advantage of two locations within my area. Both times, the image said no image available? Is this normal? I would have won the game, except that I accidentally surrendered to the minor race I was trying to get to surrender to me. everyone else loved me, my economy was going gangbusters, and I had 13 star systems. Awesome game! Just wish it would double check with you before letting you completely surrender.

I can corroborate (sp?) the download rumors. I brought the game down at between 500 and 600 Kbps and the the other pieces came in between 900 and 1000 Kbps! I was stoked. Excellent work Stardock/WinCustomize/TotalGaming. Kudos to all who have worked so hard towards this and I hope you get a well deserved rest, but knowing you folks.. You'll be working twice as hard post-release to make sure everything works right. Ah well, I guess that is why I keep buying your products. Do go get some well dese

I just noticed this in the new sticky (STICKY: Having an IN-GAME problem? Here are some tips!): (2) The game will run in any high resolution your system will support. This also seems to say that I am well. Sorry. Just too damned excited and can't wait. Love your Poweruser.tv podcast.

Got it all down in about 15 min. Ave speeds between 500 and 600 Kbps. Good work folks. I did get some message about about my email accounts needing to merged which I thought was odd because I spoke with someone at Stardock about this previously and I thought they did so at that time.
