Steam does this all the time with new games in fact Beyond Earth was at the same discount over Thanksgiving doesn't mean anything.

While I loved GC2 and I know this is still the beta but its still GC2 that runs on a 64 bit machine. The new civ 5 game is a fun game , they couldn't make a AC reboot because Atari owns all rights to everything in the original game so they had to make it a branch off Civ5. Maybe GC3 will be great when its finished who knows but with the first 2 parts in game I'm not seeing anything that I want to get excited about from GC2

To be honest I really don't see that big a change from GC2 to make a big deal about having it in 64 bit. its a little vanilla I hope the finished gameplay is great otherwise I'm not thinking this version is that much of a upgrade from the last one

One thing that I think would be helpful is when the box pops up for combat that there be another option to click to take you to were the combat is not just one to do the combat. If you have multiple ships out there it would be good to know who is in combat.

end game lockup in FE Support Elemental Forums

When ever I finish a game and get to the last screen the game locks up and I have to Ctrl + alt + delete to get out of the game and then I cant get back into the game it tells me that the game is running, I cant play any other steam games because it tells me that FE is still running I have to restart my computer to play it and any other stream game again

With all the new tweeks from the last pach I was wanting to mess around with them so I only played against 1 computer nation. I was playing on the biggest map and out of 20 starts 19 of them the computer player was right next to me. You would think that with all that room you would place them more that a few turns away from my placement. Just my 2 cents.

I am also frustrated now with the game. After the last updat I have more crashes more freezes,out of memory, and I have the cant do combat without finishing with auto, and I have the bug were the avatars are nakid without a head. Rather than working on the next game how about finishing this one.
