Elwin, I thought about this the other night, if a person is looking at a peice of art and determines a state of sanity from the art, are they not actually judging themselves instead of the artist. For that person is judging their perspective and emotions brought about by the art and not the emotion or image the artist may of been representing. Ok yes I am nuts a little, but then again you may also be depend

I was wondering if anyone would mention PhotoImpact. To me that is a good place to start in the photomanipulation or 2D world. For it is fairly inexpensive, around 99 US I think and also brings a lot of tools to your disposal. Once you have grasped the tools and abilities of photoimpact you can then determine if you want to continue and spend more money of the professional level apps. Plus this way it gives you an idea if you want to stay in 2D or venture into 3D. BUt yes if money is not that la

A strange thought came to me the other night. I wonder how many times people have done a mental analysis on some of artists based on the work they have posted on various sites and their personal sites. If there is a medical group somewhere that is judging the sanity of society on the art work that is being created. If this is happening in any way I really wonder what they have determined and inturn if they are running for cover. Ok just a little mental rambling.

What I am in search of is the ability to make the application translucent. Sorry for being limited in the request. In several themes I have noticed people incorporated an aspect of w2k that allows the menu's and applications to be translucent. This is what I am in search of a tutorial or explanation of how to incorporate this.

I see all these themes that use the transparent aspects of w2k, and I know about a century ago I saw postings and tutorials everywhere talking or walking you thru the process of setting it up. For the the life of me I cannot find any now that I got off my rear and moved to w2k. If someone is willing to point me in the direction of a tutorial it would be appreciated...if you just want to shoot me for asking, that will work also. Oh for those that ask - W2k running litestep shell

Alexandrie, just an idea but this worked for me, when I moved to the institution/cave I reside in now, my neighbor did nothing at all to maintain, clean, or regular tasks around his place. Needless to say it drove me even more nuts. After a few months I started to talk to him and inturn started to do some of the cleaning that drove me nuts. Such as cutting his lawn, racking the leaves, and etc. Over a little time he realized how coming come to a nice looking yard helped his mood he got inspired

I think it is a good idea also, for I do understand the cost aspects that high traffic can generate. But I have a small suggestion to not drive some visitors away. How about having the top ten downloads for the past week or day available to all the visit the site. Or something along those lines. This was the average user that wants to explorer but not register can still see the best of the best, and have an idea what all there is to enjoy here on this site and other skin/digital art based sites.

DeeWoo doe not worry you are not behind the time most stores do not even have it or know about it...Bryce 5 was just released a little over a week ago on the corel.com site.

Yep Bryce 5.0 is out and does have some nice benefits. If you are only rendering to animations or .bmp you can spread the rending over all the processors on your network. This is great for people that want to work with wallpaper sizes and screen resolutions. Note: the networking rending engine does not work if you have to render to large sizes or print grade DPI. For those that have used bryce before you know about the Render to Disk feature. Well that is still the only want to render
