Of course it would be an option for the user to choose.

Feature Request: Auto hide fences. in Fences WinCustomize Forums

The title says it all. It would be great to auto hide the fences, instead of having to double click every time the user wanted to hide them. Lot's of users I would guess like the clean look-and-feel of an icon-free desktop. I would also suggest that when the fences are hidden, and the the user hovers in the desktop, the fences would automatically appear. Thanks for this great app.
