I completely agree with your suggestion for the military starbase - really like it!!! Perhaps it would be a good idea to make military starbases sort of guard planets and shipyards in their zone of control. For example, if you attack a shipyard, while such starbase is nearby, you have no choice but to fight it as well.

Just bought the game - it is AWESOME I was very hesitant to buy a RTS without combat and units - boy was i wrong. The tension is incredible and i have only been playing against the AI. Need to get better and then start playing MP. Cannot wait to see the next game that Soren creates :)

I only have an i3-4350 3.60 ghz 8 gb ram Will I be able to play Ashes? Not worth becoming a Founder if my rig cannot handle it. thx
