I think everything from Homeworld 1 was released as open-source. If that is true, that means Stardock can't legally sell it.
That is not true at all. Open source does not mean free. It just means that the source must be distributed with the binary. Besides, they could have released the source for the game without releasing the assets (e.g. images, sounds). That's what the developers of Freespace 2 di
One could go even further with this and give the player the next time the opportunity to turn the tables: He could steal the dragons egg from his lair (due to a powerful stun spell or by getting the dragon to leave his lair unprotected for a short time or something like that) and then - the dragon still a uncontrollable Unit - give him simple commands like "attack city x/ faction y" "defend City Z" and so on. And - as Frogboy statem

I'm not sure I particularly like the idea of fortresses and things popping up on the landscape as needed for quests. Looking at it from an in-world perspective, it just doesn't seem to make a lot of sense most of the time. It's justified in some cases (e.g. an evil cult is expanding to a new land and builds a church) and can be handwaved in a few others (e.g. you discover a hidden castle in a mountain), but generally not. Possible solution: Given that the world is rebuilding,

I had the same problem as Einlanzerous. I also had a problem where, after one of my guard units died, pressing the Tab key would switch between only the dead unit (which was apparently in one corner of the map now, albeit dead and uncontrollable and still in the fog of war) and my Sovereign, despite the fact that I had several cities and other units.

He's saying that, because Obama won, he'll buy games, but they will be "redistributed" to "less-fortunate" gamers.
Oh, okay. But then, shouldn't the games just be confiscated and redistributed directly from the inventories of the publishers?

I have no idea what's going on here, but I'm never one to turn down free stuff, even if said free stuff doesn't actually exist. In light of this, put me down for Disgaea DS and Alan Wake. I can play the former while waiting for your time machine to return with the latter.
Guys, I ordered mine online too, but I think the point of the contest is to show the product at a retail chain.. because it's a pain for good indy companies to get into brick and mortar stores. That's why I went down to Fry's to take the pic, despite having bought it online.
I am, at present, located in The Middle of Nowhere, Vermont. Furthermore, I don't have a car. Getting to any sort of store is largely beyond me right now.

I ordered the collector's edition, so there wasn't a store for me to take photos at. That said, I treated the room in which I opened the package as a store.
