I am 90% finished programming my Multi-Network Docklet. And I have two artists making the routers images for it. ObjectDock is a taskbar replacement. Although it does have the ability to have both visable at the same time does not matter. Most users would opt out of having a dual disply of this display. Otherwise, Objectbar has no other functionality except being a pretty face over top of the taskbar. Not the case as it is advertised as being a a task bar and program launcher that does it with style. ObjectBar is truely a taskbar replacement which should have resize adjustment high on its lis
I have to disagree with you Philly. Software which takes over the taskbar is at the top of the list of programs which should resize and react to desktop resolution changes. If you must close and restart software to correct position, you are correct. It is not a glitch, it is functionality not built in. In this case, it can and should be.
This is a software glitch and should not require user intervention. This should be reported to the programmers as it seems like a simple fix. No different than changing the resolution of your desktop. All windows must reposition and resize accordingly.
In the CALLBACK function [color="#FF0000"]OnProcessMessage[/color] use [color="#FF0000"]PtInRect(&rcDocklet, ptCursor)[/color] where rcDocklet is the RECT of the docklet and ptCursor is where the mouse pointer is. From this you can determain if the mouse is over your docklet or not. How you implement this is your call. This is only one way of many. Qix
Nicnacnic, The expire date for that docklet is past gone. It was a beta. Wish I caught this earlier. My next docklet is quite a bit more complex then this one. Well, with all the replies, I will modify someones icon for personal testing and worry about that in the end. I could learn how to use the graphical tools I have but I was trying to stay away from it. There are so many good graphic designers here and they would only have to rework an existing one. Hello group, I am programming a DockLet for network activity to replace the double computers in XP that blink red while inward/outward traffic takes place. Now, I am pretty good at programming but lack skills in the graphic editing capabilities. I require a DockIcon to represent net activity.
