Another site ruined. This only seeing 8 skins on a page in the gallery despite being a current Stardock customer sucks. It's not worth the time to look at those epilepticly-lethal flashing ads for 8 skins per page.
Kirk, I've already solved this issue. Just follow my instruction here and you'll be back up and running with InDesign in no time. Regards, Pariah S. Burke QuarkVSInDesign.com
Very cool, Sir Steve. Thank you!
gBlues, Trust me, I understand your frustration. Fortunately, I found the somewhat arduous way to resolve it. I posted that solution a couple of weeks ago here. WWW Link
SKOriginals : Yeah, that would do it, too. I haven't done much work in SkinStudio, so given that and the fact that I knew I was looking for a specific RGB color triplet, it was easier for me to hunt it down in code view than to figure out where system colors were located in that nested tree view on the left (which, for all I knew, could have been divided across multiple sections of the skin). <b
Does it happen on all skins? Technically, yes; it happens on ALL skins. The difference between those who notice it and those who don't are their choices of skins. You won't see the problem if the WB skin you use has dark-colored borders. In this image you can
WindowBlinds has caused this problem with InDesign and InCopy since version CS (October 2003). It doesn't happen to everyone, and not with all skins, but it does happen to majority of InDesign and WB users. Because that doesn't include Stardock, they ignore the problem.

Hello? You know, I'm not the only one who can't launch seemingly unrelated applications after installing Stardock software. https://www.wincustomize.com/browser/msgboard.asp?BID=165&id=80615 https://www.wincustomize.com/browser/msgboard.asp?BID=165&id=80947 https://www.wincustomize.com/browser/msgboard.asp?BID=165&id=79365 https://www.wincustomize.com/browser/msgboard.asp?BID=165&id=78939 https://www.wincustomi
Uninstall Enhanced Dialog. The same thing happened to several people with a couple of Enhanced Dialog builds.
Jeff, Thank you for your message. I appreciate it. I understand exactly where you're coming from regarding your product being blamed for other applications' issues. I've been there. Without saying too much, I've dealt with many a complaint of an, uh, acrobatic kind of application breaking things with which it had absolutely no involvement, and even that all the UI eyeball icons in a certain image editing program spying on u
Why is it whenever someone is about to demonstrate their complete ignorance of how computers work they insist to the world that they have tons of experience at this sort of thing. Yeah, that was pretty foolish to begin my comment that way. Regardless of whether what I said is the truth, it was a dumb
Jeff, I'm an experienced technical troubleshooter with 3 years experience doing in-house white-box tshooting for one of the world's 5 largest software publishers. I'm capable of recognize when I've upgraded a product and not installed or changed any other program on the system inside a 2 minute period. I updated OD+1.2 simultaneous to updating to the latest WB and OB builds. Within two minutes of that combined action, all the prob
"Google has been naughty. They have kept every email that a gmail user has sent or recieved (the mail still got sent). They have also been keeping the gmail users details. All of the emails and info have been kept on one helluva server. This is just to warn you." Dear God, no! An Internet economy company is actually doing what it said it would do? The heresy! Armageddon's coming!
ObjectDock+ 1.2 caused a number of my third-party applications to fail to run, including Maxthon browser, Norton SystemWorks (crap anyway, but still), PowerDesk 6, WS-FTP Pro 9, ThumbsPlus 7, and several other applications. It also prevents Outlook 2003 from communicating with a browser (clicking a link in an e-mail causes nothing to happen). Even after uninstalling OD+, cleaning the registry, and reinstalling the above apps, I cannot use th
"you might try an earler version of IP" HOW? SDCentral only shows the most recent non-beta release and the most recent beta. HOW do you get to earlier stable versions? Is there an FTP server with prior stable releases available to Object Desktop Network subscribers? Is there a trick to get SD Central to display prior releases? Please, if you know how to get to those previous versions, tell me. I'm currently running the default Win
Where can registered ODN subscribers get ahold of older versions of the software? The last several updates--betas and non-beta dot releases--have caused numerous problems. Additionally, the SDCentral archive/restore feature isn't doing its job. So, where can subscribers download ODN component apps from, say, 3 months ago? Thanks, P
So, you're just crying for spam, aren't you? Posting your e-mail address in the open on a high-traffic, highly-ranked website is, next to joining an opt-in mailing list, the fastest way to guarantee you get spammed.
Yeah, quite a few people have the same problem. Your PNG file isn't corrupted, it just isn't a PNG file. Enhanced Dialog prevents Photoshop CS & CS2 (and InDesign CS & CS2 in the Export dialog) from actually using the file format you've selected in the Save As Type list. Instead, it saves the file as the same type used for the last successful save--probably a PSD. If you rename the file extension of your PNG to PSD, Pshop will read it (or if
Do you have Enhanced Dialog installed? That has been linked to many programs and routines not loading (it even disables anti-virus apps!).
I've got the added problem that the systray in ObjectBar is blank with any version of DX3 installed. Everything was fine until I updated the apps two days ago, now I can't roll them back to make anything work.
Hmm. Nope. Not DX alone. It appears to be the MCP. One would think if StarDock is going to charge for OD over and above OD Network subscriptions, they would at least test apps against one another.
It's SysStats 2.5. The lastest builds of DX3 conflict with SysStats 2.5 on load of OD+.
