In windows 7 I can say that almost everything (if not all) is supported. Don't worry about uTorrent, Firefox, Chrome, Miranda. I had just one app (Presonus audio interface, Presonus universal control panel) that was causing problems, contacted them and they fixed it together (Stardock - Presonus) Cheers!

i just did. :) Can a very simple custom skin from ODP v1.99 cause this? The skin loads just fine, I don't see any errors there. Also, my docks scripts are old, migrated from v.1.99 (used in WinXP, VIsta and now win7) I just don't want to start all over again....the main purpose of ODP is just that, so you don't have to go and gather all your icons again on each reinstall. There's no way to export all my icons other than sa

It takes most of the loading time after boot....my system (win7, intel i7, 16gb RAM) loads up very fast, but at the moment it hits the desktop ODP takes around 30-40sec to load up which seems a little bit too much considering the nature of the application. It's frankly a little bit of a PITA I have no special docklets loaded, no network links....just a lot of icons from all over the system in one tabbed dock. and other dock with disk drives and common folders. All my hard

This happens in WFX4 and WFX5 as well, when disabling WFX within it's own window explorer ALWAYS crash. Does that vary depending on what features are on?
Is there a way to send u a config file? so you can try there? I think that's something that should be tested by the team, I'm lazy to have crashes until I find the cause.

After a series of reboots, the problem of some animations seems to randomly happen, sometimes is fine, sometimes they are gone (this is regarding my initial reply). Just for the heads up so you can check that up.
Quoting Spyrofunk, reply 57After a reboot everything in WFX5 is working fine! Really smooth BTW I am glad you said that as I was wondering how the animations were not working right on hardware which clearly was up to the job. Regarding the slowdowns in the DWM that sometimes happen (a drop to 30fps with or without WFX), this is something I too find frustrating. It is far more common with a mu

I use "switcher" which is great but is quite outdated so it stops working from time to time, plus it has some minor flickering issues. I think Stardock could do a really nice Exposé clone given that the company has quite some experience in the Aero modding area. Exposé is realy useful and visually neat if you ask me, much more than any 3D flipbook or any other task switcher alternative. Is just so easy to go to the corner of th

Not really, when you close the styles window and click on it again you see the changes reflected, you don't really need to close OD's options (as I initially thought)

Just wanted to report. System is Win7 ultimate 64bit Installed windowblinds 7 trial, fiddled a bit with it, then decided to uninstall. (works fine, but most themes aren't even good which is a shame, but anyways...) The unwise app DOESN'T find the uninstall.log (not even dragging the log to the unwise.exe app) file so I had to uninstall the application manually from program files (x86), users folder, c:\windows, c:\windows\system32 and the registry entries. The problem relies on old themes and their corresponding INI file. I recently had to fix the ini of the "Simple rounded" theme (the coolest one IMO) to be able to make it show on the styles menu. Open the ini from a default OD2 skin and open the ini of the old skin then place them side to side, and try to carefully make them match together while retaining the values on the old one. Here's the Simple rounded theme just in case you want to try. www.spyro.mediashi

It was the tabbed dock itself, that specific one has S Y S T E M with lots of spaces on both sides to make a unique very big tab (to be able to select it from any part) and seems like the new OD cannot take names with so many characters, it did in the past....weird.

Don't know exactly which tray apps you're talking about, It doesn't really matter, I've always experienced this from v1 onwards. I know some apps dynamically update their icons (like the internet connection icon) so a fixed one won't work. I guess that's the way it is and there's nothing to be done. But for example, apps like MWSnap reset the icon to the default one on each boot. (as I remember that happened on v1 as well) <

Some of the icons I customized for the tray apps keeps changing to the default ones. The bad part is the default icons are too small and don't scale well so I customized them all to look better. Now, every time I reboot I need to manually find the icons again....that makes the objectdock tray kind of useless. Secondly, why OD doesn't have a single folder to store the icons? I have a big tabbed bar on the top and almost every single app is there, but OD takes qu
