... did you have to do that? [e digicons]*_*[/e]

In my video, as mentioned, I'm using ZGE editor (video/image/CGI) in FL Studio to illustrate the system is responsive even under load as I try WindowFX on and off.
My system (realtime audio, media. game develop workstation) is super well maintained and tuned to keep a low usage as posible. And no, the CPU usage is not 100% when the issue is present. Happens even if the usage is very low (1% / 3%) I think is something related to DWM and the fact WIndowFX hasn't been updated in a while. On the last few months I really thought WinFX wasn't the issue, I tried to blame it on everything else [e digicons]|-)[/e] , until I couldn't anymore and I'm cert
Believe me. It is WindowFX. I tried disabling every single app and measuring performance many times. I know is not easy to pinpoint but once I discovered it was WindowFX it was pretty clear. The program on the tray area is HWInfo.
Yes I'm using StartAllBack Yes I tried disabling it and use the normal taskbar to rule that out and the issue still persists.
Oh sorry for the late reply. Since I stopped using WinFX a couple months ago, I have tried enabling it once in a while across different builds and the problem comes back. I'm currently in the beta branch. 22H2 Build 23435.1000 I hope is still useful information because of that. System is a 5900X / 64GB 3600 RAM / 4090 I have 1 x 4K monitor and 3 x 1080p old monitors since years (Muti monitor user since at least 10 years) <
Windows's 11 UI becomes laggy if WindowFX 6:12 is enabled. I can notice that everywhere but is more noticeable on how slow and sluggish tray icons highlight while hovering across them relatively fast. It started to get increasingly severe since 6 months I believe. But Probably WindowFX needs an update since quite some time. Is WindowsFX dead or you guys are still maintaining it? Thank you :)
Same here on a super duper OC'd desktop with 980ti SC Window FX slows down windows UI and causes DWM to crash when binging up some windows. It also made Starcraft II to run VERY sluggish. As soon as I turned WindowFX off the performance went back up again.

broken in Windows 10 update 14257
Menu FX and some window transition FX won't work. Middle click to flip the window causes the flipped window to be completely traslucent (like no skin rendered) and only text is visible.
Not a thing changed on the new update....what a Bummer. The settings window close X is still broken. Closing the task manager makes the rest of windows 8 lag for a while, and that ONLY happens when OD is open....what kind of beta testers do you guys have? I happily moved to Rocket Dock and I think I will never look back.....not at least until these guys come with OD3 completely re written from the inside out.
I switched over to RocketDock with the stack addon and I think I'll never look back to OD unless Stardock finally wants to move their arses and release a better verison for W8.....right now is simply slow and buggy. My tabbed dock is big, it has shortcuts for almost everything in my system, OD delays windows start, sometimes the reserve edge doesn't work, sfter closing the task manager OD freezes for 10 seconds, I've had enough. Also reported my problems multiple times sys
happened here as well, is an old old bug
The folders you see on the right tab is isconpackager and the skin itself is called "Vega" by sweatyfish Iconpackager is not officially supported but it works fine here
Is rather tricky sometimes, you have to copy them to the backgrounds folder, depending on the type of skin you go you copy it to one of the available folders until you see it on the app. This is the one I used for nearly 10 years, is in my opinion the best of them all as is very simple and fits any windows version. Write me a PM
Are you guys gonna update soon? I tried Nexus and seems to have all I need. The bugs on ObjectDock are killing me and gosh you're so slow with updates. Everytime I close a window, for example the windows explorer window I experience a lag, the dock doesn't work for a while and I have to wait until it responds. I have reported this and no one seems to get it right. This is my current setup. http://i1347.photobucket.com/albums/p706/Matias_Monteagudo_Sacco
It happens constantly, everytime I close a window for some reason I cannot make the tabbed dock to show up when hovering on it and I need to either click on the desktop several times or click on some other window to make it work. Also moving tabbed docks from one monitor to the next takes quite some time, is really inconsistent and unpredictable. Still the problem when trying to close the settings dialog by hitting the "X" button is unresolved Still sometimes OD loses
I wonder where the guys from Stardock gets advice/reports from. Clearly not from these forums. [e digicons][/e] Nothing really new on this software since quite some time. Gladly on my SSD it takes much less time to load.
Reserve edge of screen keeps failing over and over and I have to set it again everytime. The close "X" button fro the settings is kind of broken, is hard to get it to close the window. Is like the programmed mouse click area is misaligned.
objectDock Crashed just now and asked me if I wanted to send a report. BUT! As usual the report cannot get thru, it says: ObjectDocki Report was not succesfully submitted. blah blah! nice
I would like to see an improvement as well, I have been using OD for a decade now and I would like to have a new version that loads faster.
"Be patient while Stardock develops a fix for OD and W8." If you wanna call it "a fix" go on. I'm patient, I'm just reporting. And no, this problem has nothing to do with Win8 and you guys know it, I've been having this issue since XP and I have been repeatedly reporting and talking to support about it. The answers from support are always generic even if I state I'm
I switched to an SSD recently, same thing, slow loading time persists so I think is not a Disc problem. Also, in windows8 is really hard to close the settings window, the click area on the close X red button is misplaced.
FL studio beta error report window upon crash (its a debugging dialog when you close it)....so, not so easy for you to fix since is not easy to get the beta if you're not an official customer. The window shows up on the taskbar but the actual window dialog wont.
