The main problem I saw was during some gameplay videos where the player unloaded an uzi on a clothed NPC. The NPC casually walked around, firing back, while being sprayed with bullets. It gave no satisfying feeling and made the weapons look like they weren't real. In my opinion, it really took away from the game. I realize when using VATS that the death sequences are spectacular, but I'm talking about every other circumstance.

It is caused by their application switcher function. They are switching window styles to take a snapshot of the window and are setting them back incorrectly. Using a version of intellipoint from before they added this function (5.x and earlier) should work fine until Microsoft sort out their later version. It's been a LONG time since Microsoft has fiddled with IntelliPoint. After researching the subject, it seems this has bee

This is a bug in the Microsoft Intellipoint 6.x mouse application. If you kill ipoint.exe then the problem will go away. Thanks! I knew someone here had a brain! That fixed it right up! Now, on to the next part: I kind of use IntelliPoint. Have you talked to anyone from Microsoft about what might be the cause of it? What exactly are they doing with their ipoint executable that angers WindowBlinds?

Long story short, almost everything about WindowBlinds 6 seems to work. However, if I grab any window by the titlebar and hold on to it for about 5 seconds, the skin will disappear to reveal the magenta boarders. Any skin. What is going on? Below is the system information: WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.0 (build 32 x86) WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel borders on Window

A god created this planet and universe only to allow child molestation, rape, murder, torture, starvation, and homosexuality just so that one insignificant race (humans) that just happened to appear on the planet due to evolution and spend exponentially more years existing in one form or another long before your religion was made up so that we could all "stop" it? The fact is humans have invented gods, goddesses, spirits, and religions for many millenia and worship has gone on in one way

Hey, I was using a custom race picture and race flag when I played GalCiv2. When I upgraded to Dark Avatar, the custom pictures were no longer present when starting a new game. I checked the directory hierarchy and noticed they are somewhat different. I tried making a Portraits folder and putting my custom race picture in there but it still didn't appear as an option in the game. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help! I appreciate it!

Thanks! That was it, then. I had installed the patch and then the bonus pack on top of it. I wish they had put some sort of notice on the front of the Downloads page so I didn't screw my game up in the first place.

I just got the collector's edition from Wal-Mart. I downloaded the 1.2 patch, the bonus pack, and the little 102kb program that enables the CE content. Is there a certain order I was supposed to install these things? Sometimes all the ships disappear while I'm playing. Specifically, if I max out the graphics for # of stars and nebula density as well as after spending a lot of time in the ship designer. I have a Radeon 850XT PCI-e and am using the 6.5 drivers. I'm about to update to th
