No this helps races with crappy engines, it makes all constructors speed 5 no matter what they have. It's benificial to races who don't have the fleets to protect slow constructors in a war. Warlike races vote aginst it.

yeah but net popualtion growth is also about less deaths and longer lifespans. I imagine evil races have slightly cutthrout, dare I saw Drow like, societies where your young death rates are high. On the real main point though, Goods bonuses should be all about having friends. It may be intagable but it is very powerful. I like it that way.

please try to make your post easier to read. Paragraphs and a text color you can see aginst a black backround would help. Also I read your post and it I am sorry to say but it seems really pointless... why not just apologize on the other thread you made?

I had the same thing with 2 ships making a phantom fleet. Save, quit, load. Phantom fleet still existed but I could group my ships agian. They happened to be costom transports, I should tried the invasion thing

I would like for each tech I have or invasion technique I use to have a visable effect on the battlefeild, and I would like to see an innitial troops landing on the planet at the beginning phase to the animation. Better graphics are my main objection. Mechanics wise, I have no problems really... general concepts are fine. I kinda wish the special invasion techniques were things you built on your ships instead of things you buy at the inva

it's in the quasy exploits catagory of: Abusing defecieies in the AI. If you have fun, whatever, if you are bored with the game being 'too easy' try playing with low anomolies or higher difficulty.

They are usefull if they have the sensors and engines to never get attacked or cought by suprise. I like to equip my sensor ships with one laser just so they can pop unarmed enemies. Currently on the slightly cheap tactic list, cause they AI never sees it coming or learns.

The computer does seriously miss powerful tactics like cargo hulls loaded for sensors or speed. right now it's combat tactics are very straight forward. It doesn't cheat which is good, but it leaves it with very little information to evaluate and it currently has a poor ability to predicte human stratagies. I do however strongly belive stardock will improve these things, probably in 1.2 It is unfortunate that we are essentially

Hover you mouse over approval on the planet screen it shows a breakdown. Also note the larger populations get "overcrowded" on the planet and get less happy. No way around this except stop building farms or build more entertainment. As far as I know miliray doesn't help moral.

Try saving it regardless, it should work as long as the numbers say 54 or less out of 55. And btw, I thought miniturization actually just made the base hulls larger instead of the componets smaller number wise? Same effect but easier to manage.
