Stuck in Strategic view? in Strategies GalCiv2 Forums

Hello and thanks for looking. It seems to me I am stuck with nothing but the strategic icons when I am in map view. I can scroll in and out, and move my camera wherever, but the icons remain. Looked thru the manual and there was no help to be found. Wne thru the first 6 pages of posts on here and found nothing. Hoping someone can help as that is pretty annoying. Don't make me start playing WoW again!
