Perimeter was finnicky on my machine so never got into it. I will die on the TAB is a TD game hill though... it's about towers and walls and oncoming enemies....

Hiya, Just wondering what other Tower Defence titles everyone here likes, what they consider their key titles for the genre, and why the enjoy them? I'm also looking for recommendations too! For me I really like: X-Morph - A really great blend of tech and graphics and story/world. Absolute chaos. Revenge of the Titans - I really enjoyed the economic and research aspects of this game. Perhaps have a number pop up on each enemy when it dies like all the looter shooters do? I think what irks me most is there is no visual or mechanical feedback of any kind for the salvage process. I dislike when games simply have things "happen," I prefer more stuff to be simulated.
I've played all the missions, I have had fun, but I see a ton of ways this game could be better and I believe if my feedback is taken into account and acted upon SoC will become one of the best TD games on the market. How long till this drops?
Im about 66% of way through the game, but the one I absolutely hated so far was the dark mission. The game engine isn't managing to make it look like night and the mechanic just isn't fun at all. The most fun mission though, was the green map where you had hordes of tiny units coming down three lanes. I forget the name but the star objective was to use overload 3 times?
