Any experience with HP Touchsmart? in Personal Computing Demigod Forums

I am looking for an all in one machine to put in the kitchen that has a TV tuner, enough power to handle media, kids homework, and maybe some games. I seriously considered the imac but the fact that it does not have a tv tuner (I really don't like the idea of adding a USB ported 3rd party tuner device) I am now looking at the HP Touchsmart machine. It seems to have everything I am looking for and has some pretty decent reviews. However, I also know it is not the only all-in-

It's all in the quality of the set. I have a small 19 inch LCD from Samsungin the kitchen for $220 and it is OK but certainly not HD as advertised. I also have a 37 inch Sharp Aquas ($1300)and EVERY picture is beautiful HD signal or not with no blur, ghosting etc.

D3 requires a CD key...Elemental will not. D3 is a good game but in the end, the CD key sucks. I Lost mine after 2 years and now have to purchase game again. Sorry but I purchased it once already thank you. That fact alone makes it a poor purchase in my book.

You know, throughout history, conquering armies always absorbed the tech from the defeated foe. The attempt to assimilate foreign fighters into the conquering army often proved difficult due to difference in language, culture, etc. This meant that you almost never saw a barbaric warrior fight as a native barbaric warrior in the Roman army for example. It was also difficult to train that barbaric warrior into a modern Roman solder. What does this all mean? A

The idea sounds interesting but I can't help but fear that alot of Uber players would quickly dispatch their less than "experienced" enemies taking a lot of fun out of the game. Since fun is kind of the point, it sounds like it is something that could be abused or over used.
