Actually, assuming you don't have PCI Express, and instead need an AGP card, the GeForce 7800 GS was recently released and is the best and will always be the best AGP card you can purchase. ATI has stated they won't produce another AGP card, and I doubt Nvidia will ever do another one either. I just installed this card last weekend, and now I can finally play AoE 3 and have all the goodies cranked up on GalCiv2. A definite must for anyone

After reading this thread, I wouldn't be surprised to see an option to switch the location of the saves and config files in v1.1 That's what Stardock does. They listen, and if you have an idea that doesn't suck, and you don't act like a retard when you present that idea, they tend to implement it.

The only way I've found is to move the fleets off of each other. It's also a problem with just one fleet of constructors. You can't get to the upgrade/construct/destroy/etc screen w/o removing one from the fleet and moving it off the same tile.

I played a game last weekend where I had 48 logistics, it allowed me to make a fleet of 24 tiny ships. No need to modify the tech tree!

I tried the Cargo Hull thing once. It was fun killing the Constructors and unarmed Starbases... until I realized that I wasted so much money playing around with them that the Yor took the opportunity to show me the error in my ways! Yesterday Microsoft announced two pricing levels for its new Xbox 360. What does that mean for the video game industry? Will Sony follow suit? Who would be incline to pay for the "full" version versus the "core" version? If people buy it w/o the hard drive, how will that hurt developers?
