I have been having another problem with WB for quite awhile now. On my my laptop, running XP every time I right click on the task bar, or click on a pull down menu, explorer crashes and then I get the white Active desktop re-activation page and mu current background disappears. I know his is related directly to WindowsBlinds because as soon as I un-install WB, the problem goes away. Anyone else having this problem or does anyone know of a work around for this? I have not ben using WB because

A hopefully simple question.. Does the release version of Right Click support saving of your layout now? In the past, if something went south with Right Click, you had to re-construct your menu from scratch. I love this program and found it extremely useful with that one exception.

I notice that Vista 64 bit is omitted from the list of compatibility? I have always liked the Winstep application and it is extremely powerful but before I upgrade to the newest version I need to know that it is compatible with the OS I'm running. Just curious, would really like to get my hands on this latest version. Looks like the Winstep team has done it again! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/s

A firm date, (or at least a reasonable time frame), on when it's getting released and a list of what the expected fixes are and new or improved functionality, (if any) are. I think that this is an interesting thread but wouldn't it be nice to know MS is listening and taking suggestions seriously. Anyone know what the requisites are to be part of a "selective group" of beta tester are?

I have Ultimate and I think this is good news for whoever wants to use animated wallpapers. It's a nice feature but is not the primary reason I went with Ultimate to begin with and those who say that Ultimate users paid an extra $200 just for that feature because that's the only difference are mis-informed. As always, Stardock continues to innovate while every once in a while pulling one out of their bag of tricks that is completely un-expected. Way to go Stardock, I hope this product is a fin

I am trying to download the new Premium Suites through SD Central and it tries 3 times then gives me the following error message. Something about the DL path setup is wrong or not being allowed. Here is the log from the 3 attempts it keeps timing out on... What's up with this? -- [Application] ---------------------------------------------------- Name: Stardock Central Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\SDCentral Version: 2.49.501, build: 162 -

I wish that were the case but for me, it does not seem to like Vista Ultimate 64 bit. Not sure why but crashes pretty regularly if it loads at all. Shame, because it was probably one of the most used products I have ever put on my systems.

I use Object Dock Plus, and have for a long time and have used Right Click off and on since it's release. I tend to go with applications that don't crash on a regular basis as RC does, at least on my systems, but ODP has been rock solid on both my XP and Vista 64 systems. Not sure I see the advantage of running both but if it would be stable, I can see how RC would have a very small advantage over ODP but only in the convenience category IMO.

Yes, I'm old enough to have gone through that too. Right now, that's exactly what I plan to do until there is enough to warrant a purchase one way or another. We probably will be looking at Holographic Memory devices in 5-7 years down the road if the indicators are true but I figure if I can get 2-3 years out of a format before it's almost obsolete, I'm doing pretty good, at least in the context of how fast the technology is evolving.

I recently purchased a 42" 1080P LCD and am now trying to figure out if I should wait for the format wars between Blue Ray and HDDVD to resolve the question for me, but that may prove to be longer than I want to wait. I recently read that here in the US, HDDVD only outsold Blue Ray by 100 units for the entire country in the month of September. So, the sales numbers, at least so far, are not much of an indicator. Does anyone have any insight as to what would be the best option short of purchas
