I have a question about using Colony Ships to move people from a higher populated planet to another planet with low population. Most of my games start with an explosive expansion during the early game. This often leaves my economy hurting due to having too many colonies with too few people. Usually my capital colony suffers from over-population. Has anyone tried using colony ships to move population to help even out the population distrobution across thier colonies?

Does anyone know how games are scored? I played my first two Metaverse games this weekend and won both, but got very different scores. Both games were played using the same settings, but one was a Technological Vitory and one was a Diplomatic Victory. More specifically, do you get an improved score based on the speed of victory? The Technological win was much harder because of the time involved; I had to keep using diplomacy to keep thier invasion at bay....

Ok, maybe it's just my play-style, but the first thing I do is purchase a colony ship each turn for the first three turns. I then make a mad dash in three separate directions all at once. Because fog of war is up, I click in the general direction of a star system. Now, I don't take time each turn to see if my colony ship is going to move over a planet; I set the waypoint so I DON'T have to micro-manage each move. I guess I thought that b/c there is a pop up for everything else in this game,

Is there a setting somewhere to prompt before colonizing a planet? It often happens that before reaching the destination, my colony ships hit a planet. What's worse is that sometimes I colonize a planet with a lower PQ than others near it. So, is this a bug or a setting.
