Influence on mini map in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Hi all, I am a new player with a basic question. The mini map shows the owner of each sector by color. Only that my own sectors are not colored at all (still black). What can I do to toggle the color? PS: I am not color-blind and my influence is the highest in the galaxy in my game.
