How do i get a copy of the Beta? Please devs hear my plea!

I preordered cause i want to try the sequel to the game that made me forget about MOO3

I preordered cause i want to try the sequel to the game that made me forget about MOO3, but once i finished the process i found out that the beta testing is already finished!

Can anyone
(devs, fellow gc fans) help me get a copy of the latest beta so that i can happily test the game out until i get the final build.

If the beta isnt working anymore, then i understand but if previous downloaders are still able to play it please help me. thank you so much guys.

I think it's only 3 weeks or so until release. I'm sure the anticipation wont kill you!

I truly have to agree

1.In February you will have the game, that´s not a time too long to wait.

2. Moo3 really sucks! It had great potential, but was truly messed up

Yeah, I missed the Beta too and I am waiting for the next masterpiece since MoO2... Still waiting, but I think my prayers will be answered... Finaly!

Well... at this point your only real chance is to build a time machine.

Then you could either go back to the beta period, or you could go forward to release.

Let me tell you... After playing the current gammas, there's no way I could go back to the final public beta. You're in for a treat when the game launches.

Beta closed to new pre-orders a few weeks back. Those who have access have kept it, but no one since the cut-off has gotten it.

On the bright side, it's only a month to release now

And trust me, you don't want the last public beta build as a preview or something to tide you over. It was still buggy and incomplete (there has been a smaller private test for the gamma builds, that version is stellar) so it would have just been frustrating. Trust me when I say, the final version is going to blow your socks off and is worth waiting a few more weeks for

Yeah, I did some beta testing on other game. Most I can say is that it is not for me, I hate beta testing. I am happy others enjoy it. I prefer to play the finaly product, without bugs and balanced. What is the most incredible thing, is that I will only wait 1 month, since I just discovered this game yesterday. Not like those who waited 2 years...

Waiting one month for a game like this... Priceless.

Seconded

We're so lucky to be introduced to the game this close to release.
You didn't find out about the game through Penny Arcade like me did you ?

For those who are so desperate that they can't wait another month :
Why don't you install a legacy 4X game ?

I think I'm gonna try the GalCiv 1 demo shortly to get at least a bit of xp with the genre

I have not played GalCiv I but by all reports GalCiv II will be far superior. GalCiv II has 3D instead of 2D graphics, a much improved AI, the ability to design custom ships, etc. I have only purchased three games in my life, GalCiv II was the third and based on what I have seen in playing the Beta 5 release, I'm happy with my purchase!

I said I have only bought three games, I did not say I have only played three games. Back in the 80s when I was in high school and later university, I was short on cash and traded pirated games with my friends. Now that I am older, wiser, and richer, I don't participate in trading pirated software anymore. I try out demos and shareware games but rarely do I like them enough to part with my dollars. Being married with two young daughters limits the time I can play video games. That eliminates real-time multi-player games. I need a great single player game that I can play whenever I have some free time and GalCiv2 fills that need! I like the idea of the Metaverse; it gives me the option of competing against others in a single player game.

GalCiv I is nothing like GalCiv II in terms of experience.  Very different.
