no skin preview

from WinCustomize Forums
When I go to the wincostomize website to see the latest updated or new skins i don't see the preview of them. Why is this and how do I fix it?

P.S. I am not using the wincostomize browser.

In 'Edit Account" check yes to pop-ups.....

If your not logged in you won't see anything 'Rated' below 7. Make sure you are logged in first.

Your Ratings filter may be set too high to see the preview of the newest skins.

Go to Edit Account and under 'Web Viewing Preferences' you will see a box that says 'Show skins with this rating or higher', you can lower it if you want to see more

Zodiaq I am logged on and when i went to edit account I did not see the ratings option under web viewing preferences.

Mmmm...

Maybe you have to be at a certain user level...I would think anyone logged in would have that option though

I also cannot see the thumbnail previews of any skins. This is a problem because this site is not useful for me if I cannot preview what I download. Yes, popups are enabled but still no previews. Any other suggestions?

I don't have any pop-up stopper programs running. As a sidenote, I noticed that I can view anything uploaded BEFORE sep28th, but I cannot view anything uploaded AFTER sep28th. No clue as to why.

Sounds like a cache problem...dump your Temp files in Internet Options. (although it might be just as easy to refresh page). Make sure, for whatever reason, that your privacy settings haven't changed since 9/28.

well i do have a browser called crazy browser and it stops pop ups. but I have been using it ever since I started using wincostomize and this problem didn't happen until now.

Bring up IE and see if that browser works...don't have a clue if 'Crazy Browser' uses IE engine or not, but WC does......

I am also having problems seeing SOME of the previews (and downloading those as well). I tried everything listed in this thread but I still have problems. I have tried at work and at home (3 different machines, each running different OSs and versions of IE). I tried logging off, clearing the cache, etc...
