I have version 0.1.59682

I do not see a mini-map?

Don't think any update has been released yet.

*rubs chin*

Unreleased patches aren't very useful.  -_-

Glad the night maps are gone! I agree that they were not fun. Looking forward to check the other changes.

Siege of Centauri: Founders Version 2 Changelog

I must confess I kind of liked them but I'm a sucker for pain like that sometimes.

How do we know we can trust your words.... Yarlen.

That's the right version, Koscky. ;)

Good, night maps don't suit a tower defence.

Can you remove the stupid camera hijack on some maps. There is no reason to take control of the camera from the player after the game has loaded. It's annoying in Ashes and it's annoying in Siege.

There is also a bug on the camera hijack. For example, on the new bonus map, the map shows your base and begins to rotate toward a true orientation. If you pause the game during this camera rotation then unpause, the map rotation doesn't restart, so you must play the map in a funky orientation.

Yeah I don't miss the night map.

Since this is  a beta, do crash report files get created when the game crashes? If so where are they and how do we submit them?

They do get created - you should see a dialog pop-up that asks you to submit them to us. If you don't get the dialog, it means the reporter didn't trigger (which probably means there wasn't a report generated). If that's happening, please post back.

I observed this too.  Frankly, I think the whole messing-with-the-camera should just be eliminated.  It's not worth all of the headaches it causes:

1) orientation being off-angle as described in the quote

2) camera movement on mission start feeling like the mouse weighs 10 lbs until the mouse wheel is scrolled because it's using the default of 100% instead of user-defined 300% for panning.

3) less disorienting for players because north isn't changing

4) less stressful because can start getting organized immediately
