Assault Fighters do not show when choose to 'fight battle' - then battle is lost in Victory Certain scenario

I've noticed this a few times and it's starting to annoy me.

Nothing I love more than watching my Assault Fighters swarm over enemy fleets and destroy them before they reach my carriers.

I'm noticing a bug where the battle is a certain victory, you watch the battle, and the assault fighters do not show?.... usually I auto resolve battle when I see this, and always it says victory, but then when go back to Galaxy map, my ship dies!

 

Heart breaking really is.   I use every Miniturisation Tech I can get, so although my Carriers are expensive, I have 15 Assault Fighters on my Huge hulls carriers.

I am using AI Tweaks and Planetary Diveristy by Hormevore and also using Battlestar Galactica/Pegasus ship hulls from Steam workshop

Any advice for a fix?

Usually the turn before I know I am fighting alot of battles I have to save, it's not a BIG deal but rather annoying watching your specifically designed Battlestar Boatmurdered which has Kinetic Augmentation and Subspace splinter destroyed due to a bug :Z

 

At least it gave me opportunity to upgrade it wiht more stuff and build it again but stilll.....

Also it usually shows

On Assault fighters weapon stats when you click them in drop down menu, but they are not visible and do not shoot

Goto .../My Games/GalCiv3 and look in the debug.err file see if you have an error or errors like this:

Debug Message:  RefreshFighterStats FAILED for AssaultFighterDesign. Could not find ship class: KrynnAssaultFighter

Thanks for the quick reply.

And I am immensely enjoying your mods :)  The AI is now a challenge. I'm beating the Snathi all over the shop. But they are noobs and didnt research Logistics.

Drengin have logistics 60 and Assault Carriers themselves so when they finish with Arceans they should come for me - looking forward to that

Might actually reach turn 200 without being the dominant empire for first time EVER playing this game ;)

I went into the debug.err file and CTRL & F 'refreshfighterstats'   nothing came up :/

You'd need to start a new game.

I think its a bug with my AI mod.

I guess I could live with it.

Think it could happen again?

I noticed it happen specifically with my Long range carriers with survey modules.

My mod is giving the error I posted above. Yet I can not for the life of me see why it is producing that error for every faction. The ShipClass is listed, I did not change it from default. I just changed the BluePrint. Puzzling tbh.

It's only happened once or twice past 20 turns or so.

So it's not a big deal.
