Constant Lockup/Freeze after 1.8 - Hotfix

I never experienced a freeze or a lockup before, but after the latest hotfix I cannot start new games, as they freeze up some time in the early stages or a little later.

Unrelated to whatever is happening and when the game locks up after ended turn, almost like it is rendering 1 frame per minute - unresponsive to input.

Using insane map, incredible and rest with standard settings.

i7 4600K

32 GB RAM

Greetings,

The hot fix has made game unplayable.  It keeps locking up my computer. Please remove hot fix immediately!

I don't have a computer right now but i remember steam would let you revert to earlier versions.

Whatever was done in today's 1.8 hot fix broke the game for most people who weren' t having trouble with the lock-up problem. Hope you find the source of this problem.
