Improvements no longer auto upgrading (v1.5)

Hi,

I noticed that even though the checkbox in the "Govern planet" windows is marked for Auto-upgrade improvements, nothing happens post v1.5. I did not have this problem during the opt-in period.

The improvements will display the upward pointing arrow indicating it can be upgraded/is queued for an upgrade, but in the planets build queue the upgrade is never added. It is however possible to manually upgrade improvements.

However, manually upgrading improvements quickly becomes a tedious task as your empire grows...

Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, I have seen it. A solution I found is going to the govern planet screen and exiting will put the upgrades in the queue. Not optimal, but better than placing all the upgrades yourself.

Thanks for the report.  We're looking into it.

This has also occurred when playing as the Terran without the wheel. Previously all improvements caused auto upgrading. Now none do and the up arrows are displayed instead. It would be nice to be able to toggle this as in the early game auto upgrading could be selective whereas when number of planets increase, auto upgrading reduces micro management for most of the planets.

Also, the small planetary icons no loner display on the resource details display.

I have the bug, too. Playing Thalan atm, do not have the wheel atm. Did not see this bug in the opt-in patch.

We'll have a fix for this in the opt-in branch and it should be live soon

Still not working right here as I type this and have gotten all the patches/hotfixes released so far.

I actually thought that was working except yyou have to fill up all spaces on planet first which is nice. What I don't like is that if you want a new building you can't upgrade anymore you have to tear it down instead.

Try again now that the patch is live.  The opt-ins sometimes don't update like they should.

Thanks, what I ended up doing was opting out and opting back in and that kicked it in for me.
