What happened to my ship parts pack, ALL GONE since 1.4...I'm hopping MAD about not being able to build custom ships now

I was in the middle of a great game, when I went to upgrade my ships ALL MY CUSTOM PARTS PACK IS GONE!!!

The 1.4 update degraded my game, I just lost the main reason I'm playing this time burner, if it isn't fixed I will uninstall the game and move on.

I will STOP playing this game and STOP creating Mods for it if my custom parts pack isn't fixed and returned to my game, I uninstalled the DLC and reinstalled it and it's still GONE....I'm so flipping mad right now I could spit bullets.

I think the new patch resetted your preferences (it happenned to me), so double check your preferences and inusure that "enable mods" is checked.

Thanks Bud, but I tried that, I found the settings changed and I reset them, but my parts pack is still missing, I have parts for ONE ship type, that's it all the other Parts for the parts pack are gone!

I don't think it will help, but before submitting a bug report to Stardock, try to "verify the integrity of game cache" from Steam.  Maybe something got bugged.  I usually don't create my own ships, I use models from Steam Workshop, so I can't really help you there, I don't even know what these parts look like...

 

If the refresh doesn't work (and restarting Steam also), submit a bug report to Stardock:

include a save game, your debug.err file, you prefs.ini files found \My documents\My games\Galciv3

someone from Stardock will answer you on Monday, or someone else here will see this thread a be able to help you.

Thanks for the reply, I finally figured it out, the patch reset all my settings, I caught most of it but there is a secondary selection menu in the editor I forgot to check, all good now
