If you do videos of the Daily Challenge ON BETA 7 please post them here. (I'm going to use them to try to improve the AI.) A replay file would be helpful too.

most recent one.
showing off questionable roll over times for leaderboard, and of course the OP PD.

showing off a better time than pb ![]()
Interesting things with vassals and stock.
Also, something to be said about the prices of goods. I made soooooo much money and then at the end, prices hurt, with my vassals making it hard for me to short things.

I forgot to record but I do have the replay file: (and with the magic of replay recording, also a recording)

The AIs seem to regularly waaaaaaaaaay overbid on auctions, for example 80k for a mule when the highest harvestable is only at 124$. 64k for plot auctions. etc etc.
Yes, and what's most interesting is that the AI will bid 64k for a plot auction but only 24k for a new claim.
I think you should have adjacency bonus from your team mates claims - maybe only if shared resources.
In todays replay I founded scientific first in a big patch of iron with silicon and none of the AIs founded until after 20:00 which is just dumb.

Thanks - it's very useful.
The AI seem to be trigger happy on Nukes and Mules for some reason:

in campaign I've seen AIs buy nukes for 110k and above with me on manager difficulty. Its very annoying when everybodies tiles (including everyobodies elses) are all nuked to hell.
On today's daily I noticed that buildings no longer store raw resources if they are connected to your base. This means if you ever buy something off the market, all your production stops instantly if your cash reserves get too low and you have no resources in the bank.
I think I really rather preferred the old system where a building would hoard a few seconds of production within itself, because every time I use the market, buy into a short, or whatever, all my buildings ceased doing things.
Since yesterday's update the game freezes every few seconds and overall very stuttering and unplayable. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem or should I smack my graphic card again for acting up? Yesterday morning everything was very smooth, nearly perfect.
P.S. New update fixed the freezes, I think. Thank you!
pb's latest at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_gp7nShsgc is informative on AI team behavior. The PD location, the backstab of pb's power play, the silicon tile grab from all the way across the map, it's beautiful.
Soren! help! your game is haunted!

fix it fix it fix it fix it naowwwww ;_;
what is the bug?
Look at the end. UI bugs out, construction and patents/engineering/hacking stops progressing. Autosupply stops working.
It seems there are two bugs though. The UI "turn my chem labs on so I can see the stock purchase button" is unrelated to the "nothing progresses" bug because I can reproduce the UI bug in a regular game.
Yeah, jump to 16:20ish on PB's video. Everything dies as he's deleting those solar panels. Looks like too many problems to list, best to just watch and see. Also looks like the same thing as Cubit's video from not long ago.
Wow...that was a mess PB. You're a trooper for sticking it out.
Recap of some of the problems in PB's video to help for quick reference (this is not comprehensive):
@11:00 PB notes that you can't queue research up when a building is frozen (might be a feature and not a bug)
@13:37 This is not something PB commented on but I noticed that PB's power production goes from +9.48 to +3.31 and all the way down to +2.81 when the dust storm hits. That's over a 50% reduction in power. The player he just bought would still be on a slowdown strike and he did not build any new buildings at that time. Maybe dust storms affect panels by 75% (I don't remember) and it's just the combination of solar and wind farms he has? Thought I'd note it just in case.
@14:03 Just a note that the building popups note the improvements in power technology and adjacency but no longer note the effects of the dust storm anymore.
@16:30 PB builds some electronics factories that never construct. They stay stuck at 0%. From then on PB has no way of constructing new buildings. Prices skyrocket because nobody can switch buildings. Electronics go to $1000 by 25:55 and nobody can do anything to make them.
IMPORTANT! @17:47 While watching the playback for this and making notes I realized that from this point on the power calculation goes awry. If you note here PB is using -5.18 power per second. -5.18 x 25 = -$129 he should be losing. The screen shows -$159. At first I thought this was just rounding but if you keep watching the problem only gets worse. If you skip ahead to 18:51 you can see that PB is losing -1.08 on power x $55/second = -$59 whereas the system is calculating that he's losing -$339 per second. This calculation continues to get worse and there appears no correlation between the rate of power production/price and how much money he's losing.
@22:50 after the slant drilling auction PB's carbon goes from +2.62 (get rid of the second decimal btw!) down to 1.31 after the auction is done and then shortly thereafter to 0 carbon being produced. (Worth noting he did not win the auction)
@23:09 when PB buys the red player the electronics tiles that the red player has magically convert to chem labs. there are no holograms so this is impossible.
Also @23:09 when PB buys red the stock area is thrown off justification and the last digit of the stock price is partially hidden
@24:37 PB can't buy out a player because the number of buildings turned off has shifted the stock area off of the screen concealing the buyout button. PB has to turn the chem labs off to buy out a player. As more buildings are turned off the buildings continue shifting the stock area off the page and obscure both the debt and the cash on hand.
I probably missed some but those are all I noticed. Hope this helps!
basically, there was a bug that caused an exception in the building update code, so everything after that didn't run, which is why the game went off the rails. Everything else that happened is just a result of that issue.
No, I think the UI "squeeze to the right" bug is separate. It happens when there are too many todo things in the top of the screen.
