Plasma Storm Bug with Spawned SC?

So, a thought struck me today: do spawned squadrons regenerate SC?  Well, I spawned a skirantra and hit scramble bombers, killed a few off, and then waited to see if they regenerated...they didn't, because they don't have a host per se to build them...

Then I alt-tabbed, did a few things, and when I came back, the planet that the skirantra was at was being attacked by pirates...pirates, and a plasma storm....the funny thing was that all these bombers were still flying around, and it would seem that spawned SC are not in any way affected by plasma storms...

Is this considered a bug?  Not really sure what the solution should be, to be honest, but it does seem a little off that skirantras can bypass the plasma storm thing....

I played a game the other day that said that SC launch was disabled in plasma storms, but my SC were CLEARLY flying around?

This I think is a little different though, because the disable SC bool affects hosts, not SC...so, what do you do with SC that have no host??

Ah my mistake and apologies.

Could have the plasma storm fire a disable weapons buff that only affects strikecraft, thus preventing any non hosted strikecraft from firing.
