The Beta Meshes

Where can I find them ready-to-use?

Okay, so I've seen some screens of the Beta version of the Kol. I almost couldn't breathe for several seconds upon sighting that mighty beast of war, in its original state.

As a result, I am starting to feel desperate to find a version of the Beta Kol mesh, in a format (with textures) that is ready to use in Sins 1.17/Entrenchment 1.03. I'd also like to find an early version of the TEC Bomber mesh, also ready-to-use.

If there was a beta version of the TEC Bomber&Fighter meshes, then those as well would be appreciated.

Ask Danman from 7ds. He has the Beta Kol, the Beta Marza, and I think maybe somthing else, too.

                           All you should need it the meshes, once you have those you can take a "normal" entity, such as the tech scout and re-assign all the key points by viewing the modern Kol and Marza. Simply referencing the new meshes you dropped in the mesh folder. Well... i take that back, you probably want the picture files and perhaps the old hud displays if they are different. I came after the beta, so i missed out on what it looked like and if the in game icons were different than what came later. But good luck!! 

I bet its beautiful huh?  :)

I don't know where I can find one off hand, I wasn't in the beta either. I only saw a pic from a post on the same subject here.

What I would like is a Sins 1.17/Entrenchment 1.03 ready Beta Kol mesh that I can make my own entity for, and then have fun with. Same for the old TEC bomber.

EDIT: the Beta Kol was an UGLY beast. But because it was so ugly, it was beautiful.

:)  Correct me if im wrong, but i was under the impression that meshes were not version specific, that you could effectively take 1.0 meshes and drop them into a 1.03 Entrenchment mesh folder and build a entity file and away we go!!!  :)

At least so far that has been my experience, other than trying to resize binary files, haha, which i didnt know at the time, and so it crashed, probably because it was mangled. But converted to text first the resize works, and i didnt think they werre changed by the entity file changes. The mesh files reference the textures and the vertices, as i remember, its been a few weeks since ive been in a mesh file. But i thought it would work with any version.

Someone who has been around longer than me can probably say for sure.

I don't know either, but I assume that meshes require some updating from version 1.0 Sins to 1.1+ Sins/Entrenchment 1.03, as two of the textures roles were swapped.

That, and in Entrenchment we can now have a total of 60 weapon hardpoints.

I think the beta meshes Dan has are updated to 1.17/1.03.
