A Sad, Sad, Sad, Sad Day.......

Let me start this post off by saying I have played more then 300 matches in demigod and I will continue to play this game. At least for one more month unless you take heed to my post and actually do something. No this is not a troll post it’s an honest post about the state of the game and what needs to be fixed.

Now with that said this game is getting extremely frustrating especially when it comes to finding a game/match to play when I first started it would take tops 10 mins to get a full custom game up and going, then if someone dropped or lagged out didn’t matter much cause in max 10min you had another game up and going. Now when you make a game (at least for me and the people I have been playing with) we make a game. Then we sit for 20min at least sometimes 30min. Great now people are in the game lobby and ready to go, so you hit the launch key and someone freezes during launch and is force dropped. So remake game and wait 20 or 30min. Ok so you get in the game, no drops (sigh of relief) but then oh no! Someone has a really bad ping or sim speed that was different from the lobby, time to re-host. So now you have been sitting in the game lobby for about 1 hour maybe 2 and you go to launch a game. No Drops. No Lag. Awesome. Half way through the game you get a "Game state Error" and game is closed. Wonderful so I got 2 hours of lobby sitting and maybe 20min of play time, and now it’s time to go to work. Awesome!!!

So GPG / Stardock before you EVEN CONSIDER releasing new demigods shift your attention to the bugs in the game that are forcing your players to quit. Here is a list of these bugs since the devs you have are obviously too retarded to see these bugs and fix them:

1. Game-state Errors

2. Game Lobby Pings to display proper pings.

3. Display sim speed in game lobby.

4. FIX THE PATHING.

5. Targeting errors that take place with general demigods. (I.e. oak spinning in circles hitting creeps and minions and not the demigod target, or stopping to hit a tower while chasseing a almost dead demigod)

6. Better minion control options.

7. Team auto-matching.

8. Pantheon Auto matching

9. Skrimish Auto matching.

10. AI taking place of real players. (As I know you already have a solution for this per frogboy so do a *******in hot fix already)

11. Rook tower stack bug.

12. The ladder ranking system

13. Item fixes (and just don’t remove them from the game. actually fix them.)

Yes, you heard me right. Everything on this list should be fixed before you spend time and effort into releasing more demigods that cause more bugs and balance issues then there already are. Fix what you have then make new content, Don’t make new content to make people happy for a day or two but then they realize that you added bugs or unbalanced the game then force us to wait 2-3 months for another patch that won’t even address what is messed up.

Putting bugs before features really isn't a bad idea.

At least for one more month unless you take heed to my post and actually do something.

im giving them until next patch. if the new features are bugged like the random function was when it was brought out, there is no use continuing along this path of false hope.

They also said that they cared about the customers who bought demigod, thats what they said...

Ryan: Let's assume they didn't... Do you think they would SAY so? ;)

LOL, they got yer cash - they only need to give you just enough hope that they'll fix it so that by the time the patches and fixes are in place, another better game will be released and there'll be no players on demigod anymore.

So when the fixes come, if the game is still riddled with bugs, there will be no complaints because no one will be playing.

We will stop winging.

We will stop buying stardock games.

Sorry, about the troll - I love the game and will play it until I'm sick of it.... or until I'm sick of waiting.

Sorry Ryan, but I haven't any proof to evidence they don't.

i agree. They should first fix those nasty and annoying bugs before introducing any new features (demigods). That's for sure.

i agree with

these things along with others (dont need to mention coz theres many posts on these alrdy) rlly need to be fixed b4 anything new content.

recently, theres been demand for a rematch option, but more importantly there has been demand on fixing bugs for ages now. Yet it seems the devs r more interested in introducing new features rather than fixing what alrdy exists.

delay everything until theres a STABLE game to play with plz. I think weve been as patient as we can so far. These bugs were supposed to be taken care of during the betas, thats what betas are for.

i think if things continue as they are, they r gonna lose a lot of their customer base.

I agree too.  Waiting to get right group of players takes too long.  Add insult to injury bad sim speed or game crashes.  Unless bug fixes, mod tools etc, this will be a pretty short life span of the game.

agreed.

Sadly I have already given up.

Well, I should end on a high note really.

It's been fun. I have really enjoyed this game, especially when somebody played Skirmish. I have good memories from that. There are many crap-games you buy that you only play a couple of times. Seen from that angle, a guess the money for the game was worth it. I had a couple of hundred matches and I can't complain. I did however have high hopes for this game, it had potential.

When we receive a problem report we pass it on to GPG who works on it. They also have features in development in parallel. Working on one doesn't affect the other.
