I will not concede

The last game I played was going horrendously wrong in our favor, even had a drop. We refused to concede and miraculously had a save. IMO, it's silly to concede when you can turn this game around easier than most people think.

well, i turned several games around other thought they were lost. i even turned games around where one or two players left me with ai back. but there are points at which it is obviously impossible to win anymore except your opponents are brain dead, which you can verify before that point to not be the case.

in such a situation if the end is nor only 2-3minutes away i prefere to concede. and there is no point in continuing. if you (or anybody else) refuses to concede at least don't blame me if i leave.

but i agree, that many people are giving up far to early. maybe for this people it woudn't have made any difference anyway

There can be good things with concede too

I played a game, we was going to loose and my mate left when the enemy got giants. But I figured that I could maybe get some extra favor points if I captured flags. I had 16 caps and one of my opponents had 17. I bought boots of speed (just because I had some money) and ran behind the creeps and captured one flag, and then I began capture another one when I saw that one of the enemy Demigods was trying to recap a flag. However I was some seconds before him, and exactly when I captured my flag I pressed F10 and conceded.

I earned 15 extra points that day because of conceding  

so what? not everyone agrees with your view. you sound very stubborn and unreasonable. you also seem to think only of yourself and do not care about what your teammates think. you would force the rest of your team to grind out a losing game so you can get what you want.

what is with you laughing and replying with smart ass comments towards your teammates? very childish your whole post.

This post moved me and I agree completely!! All the time people want to give up in life, but the lord is just testing them!

Honestly, if the other two have conceded and it takes you 30 minutes to finish the game, you're doing it wrong.

Didn't my bot kill their Rook, or something? Yeah, the AI that I leave behind is better than normal AI. Must be some residual effect.

It depends.  Some games are *clearly* over.  Many games are not clearly over when some people's "I quit!" threshold trips.  Adding the concede option lowered that threshold for many players....

If a game has bad lag, would you be willing to concede in that case? 

I usually concede right away if the match title says something like 'FREE CAKE'. I'll get into the game get my free cake and then I'm out. I mean if they're giving away free cake, I say take advantage of it while you can.
